Made as in produced themselves or translated from Japanese? If the latter, some of them are pretty good (Shin Megami Tensei: Persona and Summon Night for example), but some of them do suck.

What, you weren't after all the crappy games they made?

I rarely every buy Atlus games for several reasons. Not to say that they can't luck out, but...

...Sounds like something Atlus would do.

/has become a bit cynical regarding Atlus thanks to that person

Doesn't surprise me. Remakes always ease it up...

But, yeah, according to Wikipedia, it's scaled down, but available.

So it is available then? /hasn't been following the dates or anything, derp

The "Hard" mode on the PSP YU is the same as the regular mode on the GBA YU, so I'm used to it, sort of o3o

Tome of Souls is the English name.

But... yeah. Moving and attacking. I've heard the game has a difficulty spike that makes even the most pointy-thing-loving-est psychopathic person go into shock.

Cards: Better than swords. /and yet you can't use them for anything besides movement until a bit later

I think the book is Japan-only. The person I mentioned earlier? She takes Japanese and translates things.

They're both planting their own Epileptic Trees, and letting them hide among legit ones.

Once I beat Riviera and Yu~, I'll get the book. And Kitten.

Never gonna read it. Unless it's written like a game guide.

But, so far, best quote from the game:

"Is that all you have to defend yourself? Just a sword?"
    "Well... I have these..."
"Hey! Cards! These'll come in handy!"

    Hooray... XD

I think the book is a bit big, but it could be bigger, right? /and I doubt it's anywhere near as big as War and Peace //shudders

    Ratopul...?
I've seen it, but never paid much attention.

Yeah, I gathered that it was one of those series, where you gain massive headaches from just thinking about it. If there's a big book...

I might get it, eventually. I love/hate those series that are really, really deep once you start digging.

N-Nice Boat! Suwako's Nice Boat! /you have seen Kero ➈ Destiny, haven't you

There's one person I know on LiveJournal who knows, like, everything about the series and how they're all connected. She intimidates me so much, too ;; There's also a whole guidebook to the entire series that brings each of the three games together.

So then Riviera is just Riviera? D:

I forgot how much fun YU was. Though, to be honest, I agree with the reviewer who wished that battles were more... battley.

    Suwako's Nice Boat?

Nah, I disagree. Sanae's epic snake charm is cooler.

Also, I thought they didn't have any big connections.

And call it Yu~ and Kitten.

True. But "Suwako's Nice Boat" is :D

What I like about this series is that you can basically play them in any order. and if I recall correctly, Riviera takes place after both YU and KitN.
