    Thanks. :)

I actually took that screenshot back in August 2010. It was part of a project I did for HackMew, which explains why it's in Fire Red.

Um, I suppose a trainer would be nice. Do you want a list of Pokémon?

    lol, it's fine. :3
Anyway, what kind of character would you like to be?

Uh, I suppose that'd be cool. Thanks. I'd offer to put you in my hack but all my characters go by "Ampharos", "Totodile", etc. :(

Oh, btw, do you want to be a character in my hack?

Lol, yeah. But the problem with me was that every time I hit a little snag, I'd usually restart. :(

Haha, I've done it myself more than once. If I took all the time I've spent redoing things and focused it on making new things, I'd have finished like three hacks by now. Maybe that's how destinedjagold is so productive...

Definitely, I learned that same thing recently. No wonder I feel like my hack hasn't been that successful. =(

Speaking of that, I recently showed this article to Jake which I think is the reason that a lot of hacks get put on hold or abandoned. While it's centered on programming, the message carries over to hacking very easily.

I remember when I tried to make the large map; scrolling side to side in a-map wasn't fun. :3

Yeah, Jake's good at being creative, and he's very inspiring. When I repeatedly wanted to restart my hack, he gave the inspiration to continue with what I had. Too bad he's fed up with hacking now. :(

Ahhh, sweet progress. One day I'll get some of that for myself. :(

Mm, I remember the feeling when you finally finish a large map. It's one of the best feelings in hacking, second to only when I finally got that damn RTC to work. Took me several months but I finally figured the bugger out.

Yeah, I'll try but I'm a lot better at ASM than I am at creativity. I'm trying to recruit Vrai to help me out, though. He's good at stuff like that.

Well, I guess it is fun, considering how much progress I made today. :3
I was able to get one of my best maps done which, incidentally, was also the biggest I had ever made and the biggest map in my hack.

I hope your hack goes well. :3
If it needs to be storyline oriented, I'd say make the storyline very mysterious and unpredictable while also easy to follow. :3

Yeah, that's the idea. I still have to come up with a good plot, though, because Mystery Dungeon-style games are more plot-focused than Adventure-style games.

That sounds fun. Not the upset stomach part, the hacking part. :D
I think my productivity will increase once I finish up with all this college application stuff.
