July 17th, 2008 2:32 PMsims796Great. For OU, to replace Tangela, I'll be using a defensive Leafeon wiith Wish & Roar. I need a PHazer, and if it replaces Tangles, a wall.Or should I say "tank". I have Gyarados to back him up,.

July 17th, 2008 2:22 PMdeviliciousWorks great too. I've used it with success, but the sweeping set is my favourite for Leafia.
-
July 17th, 2008 2:16 PMsims796Crap. How does Defensive Leaf works?
-
July 17th, 2008 2:00 PMdeviliciousIt's not -too- good, but it's definately one of the powerhouses you should always watch out for.
And no, that's not the good set. The coverage is just not worth it.
I'd go with Swords Dance / Leaf Blade / Substitute / Roar. You need Roar, to avoid being PHazed. Substitute can be changed for really anything else in Leafeon's movepool, but I love me some subs; -
July 17th, 2008 1:53 PMsims796But is it TOO good? Nidoking is a tad broken IMO, and Leafeon seems far too powerful, and its far too easy to get in a Sub.
Is this a good UU Leaf
Swords Dance/Leaf Blade/X Scissor/Aerial Ace
Or something like that, or is yours best? -
July 17th, 2008 1:47 PMdeviliciousDewgong is an average Special Wall. It's good for Rain Dance teams, and Encore is great, specially when you have a 100% Recovery move in Hydration. However, being weak to Electric and Grass, two quite common types, and not resisting anything useful besides Water are two things you must work out when using it. I like using Dewgong, though.
Leafeon is a monster. It's faster than everyother UU PHazer, meaning they can't really stop you from rampaging. Since you don't need to Baton Pass to be effective, you could use Substitute / Wish / Yawn / Aerial Ace or anything useful in the BP slot and literally destroy the metagame. The only real counter to it would be Jumpluff, but if you have a Sub up, she can't do anything to you, and you just get one or two more SD's and... yeah. Then one must send in Swellow and revenge kill. Leafeon is just an amazing sweeper on UU. -
July 17th, 2008 12:12 PMsims796That's it, Deviruchi, you I are emeniez. Which is slightly better than enemies.
As such, you shall help me in the UU metagame. I know the basics, but how is Dewgong in that tier? Leafeon? -
July 8th, 2008 9:47 PMsims796I'll geet you, soon, don't you worry!
And Vileplume is still uber! He was just limiting his awesome power for today, lest he destrys the universe. I don't think we can handle another "big bang"... -
July 8th, 2008 9:43 PMdeviliciousI treat my opponents with respect. No cockiness, ever. ♥
-
July 8th, 2008 9:28 PMsims796What? You helped me with Tangrowth!
I was just hoping you would get cocky, like everyone else I've battled. That wasn't happening. -
July 8th, 2008 9:25 PMdeviliciousWell, that's what you get for underestimating me. ;3
I know I don't give out the impression of an experienced battler, but remember it's the second look that counts. -
July 8th, 2008 9:11 PMsims796True, though I was hoping YOU didn't notice it.
-
July 8th, 2008 9:10 PMdeviliciousEverything in your team was going to be at least 2HKO'd by Surf, except Vileplume. I had no reason not to keep just using it.
-
July 8th, 2008 8:40 PMsims796Bah. I still say I could have made you kill yourself, though. I noticed how much Life Orb did. I over predicted far too much, hoping that you woud read into obvious moves, but you just went straight for it. I would have still lost most likly, but that danged Dr.Oct would have fainted earlier.
Well, time to punch the meat bag in order to feel moar manlier. Well, at least I can grow a manly mustache...my pride... -
July 8th, 2008 8:36 PMdeviliciousThank you. It's really hard to resist a +1 Sp. Atk +2 Spe Octillery. It's too awesome even for OU.
A full 252/252 Noctowl takes up to 96% from my Octillery's Ice Beam, though, so you couldn't switch it in. Not to mention it wouldn't be able to Whirlwind it out, so yeah.
I look forward to a rematch, when you get a team together. :3
