October 15th, 2008 2:48 PMBlue AngelI'm sure that day will be very soon ^^
(Except I'm getting 2 more to add to my Return Eevees) -
October 15th, 2008 1:22 PMSongbirdRobynHey Blue,
Long time no see. Just thought I'd drop by and say hi.
Thanks to you I now have all Eeveelutions except for Espeon, and I've bred about 30 extra eggs, so I'll be opening a "shop" thread soon!
Thanks again, KIT, I might have stuff worth trading to you again someday!

October 10th, 2008 5:45 PMBlue AngelYep, it helped quite a bit, thanks ^^

October 10th, 2008 5:22 PMSongbirdRobynIn a nutshell, IV breeding is*similar* to EV training (and if you don't know what that is it's SUPER hard to explain) where you keep breeding generation after generation passing down Inherited Values to make your babies stronger than the generation before. Yeah. There's more to it, but hey, that's the easy way to explain it. But it takes a lot of consideration of starting stats, a bit of EV training the parents, Natures and so on. It's worth it in the end to swipe through the Elite 4 with generation 7 bred pokemon that hit first and hit hard. Which is why I have yet to beat the Elite 4 (after 75+ hours of game play. ^_^ )
Hope that helped. TTYL -
October 10th, 2008 3:02 PMBlue AngelLol, no problem.
I'm here to listen ^^
I've wondered but never really understood, What is IV training? -
October 10th, 2008 2:06 PMSongbirdRobynOh... Sorry I'm late for replying but I don't think it'd be fair for me to give you a throw-away for an Eevee!!! I'm happy with our trade, the Roserade for the Eevee (though I STILL feel bad about not changing the Roserade's nickname!!!)
Anyways, thanks, and if I ever do want another Pokemon I'll be sure to find you first, and raise up something good in return for your efforts. But I've bred that Eevee (which became my first Leafeon!!) and I already have three baby Eevee's and a newly evolved Umbreon, and 1 more egg to come!!! LOL. Oh, I just bred her with my Lucario. They liked each other (same Egg Group) and it worked! But soon I'll be IV breeding them with expertise! (I got good at it on my Fire Red, but I can't import those yet :( )
So thanks again, sorry I talked your ear off! -
October 9th, 2008 8:21 PMBlue AngelYou trade a "throw-away" Pokemon like Starly or Bidoof. You pretty much trade a Pokemon you don't want, in return for one you want.
Pretty much, I am offering a Level 5 Eevee for any Pokemon you don't want or have "worthless" multiples of. For example, if you bred a bunch of Ditto, you wouldn't trade me that because it can be rare in some trainers eyes. Bidoof and Starly aren't rare unless they have good egg moves. Or unless of course they are high leveled/ IV trained/ UV Trained. -
October 9th, 2008 4:52 PMSongbirdRobynWow
I just re-read some of your old messages and noticed you offered that Level 5 Eevee to me for free?!?!
How would you trade a pokemon without getting one in return? Or did I misunderstand that? -
October 9th, 2008 4:46 PMBlue AngelNah, I find the nicknames kinda cute. I'm not mad if one is.
No big deal.
Good Luck with your breeding. -
October 9th, 2008 4:05 PMSongbirdRobynOMG
1st: Thank you sooooo much for the Eevee (which is now a level 14 Leafeon) She'll be the start of a LOOOONG line of well-bred Eevee's for other people out there looking for Eevee!
2nd: I am SOOOO sorry about that Roserade having a NICKNAME! I personally don't like getting traded pokemon with nicknames... And I soooo didn't even notice until like the very last minute before I went downstairs in the Poke Center... If it made you upset I am truly truly sorry.
But again, thank you for the Eevee. -
October 9th, 2008 3:17 PMBlue AngelNp, I understand.
This Eevee is your new baby.
Train it well ^ ^
Do you know what Egg Moves are? I can tell you if you want to know -
October 9th, 2008 3:16 PMBlue AngelThat's my time zone :)
*looks at my location* California is in PST
K, i'll grab it now.
Don't you need more than one Eevee so you can breed? You can have the level 5 free if you like. -
October 9th, 2008 3:15 PMSongbirdRobynAlso, you rock for helping me out!! I spent alot of time with that Roserade, but I think It'll be worth to trade her for an Eevee!
-
October 9th, 2008 3:14 PMBlue AngelLOL, I almost totally filled my friend rooster already :P
I fit you in. There are still 4 spaces left. -
October 9th, 2008 3:13 PMSongbirdRobynI'll take the female weak in Attack (Speed is sooo essential LOL) and I'll give you that Roserade for it.
I'll add you in my Pal Pad and be in the WFC downstairs at 4:30 PST (Not sure what timezone your in but that's in about 20 minutes give or take)
Sound good?
