April 6th, 2013 4:57 PMArcherYeah, I remember you saying you moved, glad it's all going well for you. I just thought it was funny we're playing in your hometown, just as you turn up out of the blue.
I don't find myself gaming that much during semester. I play a bit of TF2 and other FPSs here and there and try to clear my RPG backlogs during the holidays. No one I know plays Pokemon, so aside from clearing Black2 a few months ago, I don't really play at all. I tried competitive again for about a month last year before remembering how much if an unrewarding time sink it is. (Although the community is a little less judgemental and elitist than I remember, lol)
Funny how paths cross, though. If I don't hear from you again, have a good life, mate. Maybe I'll see you in another 4 years :P -
April 6th, 2013 6:57 AMSkyPioneerbahaha, found this site after googling myself, and was looking around for old times sake. mate, if i was still in sydney i'd definitely come see your show! i've moved interstate, if i ever come down i'll definitely shoot you a message to see if you've got a gig on. mate, i'm in 3rd year uni, studying IT. it's pretty sweet. i used to work in a call center for a bit, that was nice. jah man, it's been pretty schweet.
anyway, my buddy and i play pokemon black a lot, and i always kick his ass in battles. probably from all those days in the strategy forums here.
my latest obsession is fighting games, i'm really stuck into tekken tag 2 at the moment. there happens to be a good arcade near me (which is pretty rare) so I always go there and rip it up. good times. -
April 6th, 2013 4:45 AMArcherHaha, how's it going? I just visit from time to time. I've probably made about 2 posts this year. It took me long enough, but I grew up and moved on. :P
I'm currently 3rd year at Uni (2nd yr in my degree, though). B. Arts Dip. Ed at Macquarie Uni, if you're interested.
Looking for a part-time job at the moment. Singing in a band. We have a gig on Thursday in... Baulkham Hills, lol.
What have you been up to? -
April 6th, 2013 2:20 AMSkyPioneeroh hell yeah you're still on this site after all these years? what's cracka-lackin ma man

July 30th, 2009 3:12 AMSkyPioneerI'm done with this place.
Competetive Pokemon (the idea is laughauble when you're really in it) was a nice, interesting distraction, but I've got thigns to do, big things.
I've moved to Melbourne, and I plan to make my life move, not have it move for me. I'll pop up every now and then, throw in my controversial two cents in the odd thread here and there, but I'm otherwise finished.
Looks like you're 16 too. You've a life ahead of you, mate. Put your DS down and open your eyes.
Peace. -

Heh, I have an emblem that no-one else does :D
Here's a little advice from an old man:
If no one else has it, it is because no one else cares.
Good day, fine sir. -
April 7th, 2009 11:02 PMSkyPioneerHah, my last day was today, tommorow we have a pupil free day (which is fine by me).
Also, I can't beleive I haven't friended you yet, one of the few people I actually talk to here. Here's to getting it done. -
April 7th, 2009 4:33 AMSkyPioneerGood day to you, fine sir.
How goes your evening thus far? -
March 14th, 2009 7:33 PMSkyPioneerDoubles is a whole new ball game. Trust me, you can formulate some very unexpected strategies in Doubles. The whole doubles metagame is much more fun, trust me.
Practise with Netbattle Supremacy.
I actually hope that it is doubles. If you like, I'd give you some pointers. -
March 14th, 2009 2:03 PMSkyPioneerNothing much, man. I was thinking about talking to you this morning.
At the release of D/P, there was a tourney there, the rules being:
1. Three Pokemon, level 50
2. No legendaries (same Pokemon as Battle Tower are allowed, so no scarftran D: )
And I think that's it.
Actually, if you go into local battle (one of the upper stories of the pokemon center) the rules they played by was actually one of the presets there.
I know because a friend of mine went there and got his arse handed to him (he got to third round using a hypnosis/dream eater gengar, was owned by a rest talker, meaning the players must be pretty noob).
Anyway, I was thinking there might be something like that for plat. What do you think? -
March 8th, 2009 1:27 AMSkyPioneerOnly at -32. Some dickwad repped me up. So from -50, I rose to -32. It must be someone with good rep power, so probably a mod.
Speaking of mods, why does everyone suck up to them? Every mod or ex-mod I see has a bucketload of green blocks next to their names. I really doubt that everyone is appreciative of their "hard work". I know a mod who moved a HM slave topic to SnM. :/ -
March 7th, 2009 11:32 PMSkyPioneerTell you what,
If there's some kind of Nintendo event in Australia, then I'll shout out to you, so that we may perhaps meet up with each other IRL. You know, in a open, public, pedo-proof environment.
=) -
March 7th, 2009 6:15 PMSkyPioneerInteresting, I guess.
I'd say minorly amusing suits the role more efficiently.
Also, Ruddkipz is planning to censor our internet after the failure of the Howard government's NetAlert scheme.
