As far as I know, there is no tool for importing music in G/S/C.
However, there is a music hacking document here that you can get started with:

Would you happen to know anything about creating music for Gen II?
Would it be possible to have music created in say, LSDJ and then inserted into Gold?

You could try watching my video tutorials in youtube. I think that pointers are explained in part 6 and 7 (search for GSC hacking tutorial).

I read it few times and I still don't understand a single bit of it.
The only way I could is with a step by step walkthrough.

I actually modified my old pointer tutorial today (got the idea to do it after I had answered your question about repointing data). You should check it out and see if you figure out how to do stuff after reading it:

I can be a little hesitant about it at first but when I get around to it it's a ball!

Okay, not gonna make you view these either.
Learning new things is fun though

Well, most basic edits don't require any more than knowing what you can do now.
Although it would be good if you knew how to edit scripts more properly - check out the scripting compendium here:

Here you can find ROM and RAM maps for Pokemon G/S:

What they basically do is to provide information where different data is stored both in rom and ram.

Although thanks for telling me about JohtoMap. I had no idea it existed but It sounds much better.

To edit text I'm using a hex editor and GoldMap for the maps, GSCTrainerEditor, TilesetEditor and PSKV to edit scripts.

Right now, I am comfortable with what I'm able to do already with these tools, I'm able to edit what I want to edit in the way I want and it is all going smoothly.

Currently the only thing I can't do that I would like is to make new music/add a Pokemon or two.

Saw your Bronze thread in Progressing Hacks.
Anyway, do you need help with learning how to hack? I noticed you said you couldn't currently edit the evolutions for trade-evolution pokemon and so I'd assume you won't be able to do much else either expect for editing text in their original rom areas with poketext and using other tools like JohtoMap, GSC Wild Pokemon editor, Trainer editor etc (after all, to edit evolutions for certain pokemon you only need to know how to use a hex editor, know the relation between hexadecimal and decimal digits and read a rom map).

I'm not saying your hack is bad though - it's much more advanced than the first hacks I made but you can really do a lot more by studying rom hacking in overall.

I've recorded video tutorials about hacking GSC in youtube so you could try watching them too.
