You are absolutely welcome. <3 And here I thought I wouldn't find any mod perk that would appeal to me more than the thread locking and humongous PM box. xD

And yeah, I used to be a regular insomniac too, but that habit totally killed my grades, so finally I was faced with the decision of 'do you want your IB diploma or your late nights?' and I ended up choosing the former. A pity in a way, as my talent for actually being efficient with minimal sleep pretty much went down with it. D:

And yeah, those side-scrollers rock! <3 Personally, I'm biased in favor of the rather never Megaman X, though. It was the first game in the genre I ever properly played, so yeah. XD Ahh...I still remember the ideal boss sequence by heart. Good times. Then there's the whole goodness of Chrono Trigger too. (I seriously, seriously hope they stay true to their word and make the promised remarke loyal to the original)

And I used to have precisely the same problem with that game. xD (Though with a different energy type, mind you) It took me forever to realize the existence of this one guy at the lab whom you can smack around for energy-only boosters. Don't do much psychics anymore, though, because I'm far too fond of Magnemite. Seriously, that thing is a beast. It para-stalls with one electric, then all you have to do is slap on a Defender and another energy card and you can basically KO any basic you're facing on turn two and wreak havoc on the bench while still keeping the mite around to blow it up again next turn (or evolve it). With a potion in between, that trick can be pulled multiple times in a row too. (personal record is three selfdestructs with the Magnemite and then one with a Magneton evolved from it <3) As for MT, well...I'm technically speaking not as much stuck as just plain too annoyed to continue. The cursed tools are like, you don't just have to dig far deeper into a mine than any sane person would want to go (last one is 69 levels below ground) and even then, the tool will only sometimes be generated into one, specific tile of what can be as large as a 32 x 20 field, depending on what floor it is, filled with stones. And of course you have to dig up each and every tile to make absolutely sure that you aren't missing it. *Headdesk* Luckily I took the precaution of unlocking the big stamina/fatigue meds before winter came around. Winter is not such a great season for me, though, as no crops means I can't use my army of harvest sprite slaves to reel in obscene amounts of cash. (I 'befriended' them with plentiful bribes early on, so now all I have to do is manage their shifts and they will not do all the crop watering for me, but also harvest the stuff and ship it; all I have to do is till and plant xD) It does have the coolest visuals, though. :3

Oh, and such coincidence! I've had Lucky☆Star pegged as one of those series to look into for a while now, but it's been a pretty elusive prey thus far as the fansub deleters seem to be one step ahead of me. Still, I'll give it a shot now that it's even more recommended than before. :3 And it's actually somewhat surprising that they don't do as much intensity with the short series, given how a short format would be far more fitting for it. Mind you, Karin (Chibi vampire in some translations) was a short series that actually did surprisingly well on that front. Despite essentially being romantic comedy, it actually had some lovably creepy moments. Not Higurashi, of course, but a commendable effort all the same. <3

Aaanyway, looks like I'm off fansub hunting then. :3

I kind of figured as much. My last ounce of privacy on a public forum gone, thank you very much. </3 But yes, I like to keep track of all those sugary sweet to me, because its fun and creepy. 8D

Sleep deprivation becomes easier the more you experience it, I should know, I've spent most of my uni days in such a state (although that's probably because I'm a world-class procrastinator of immense proportions and leave my assignments to the last week and have all-nighters to make up for slacking off xP). Anywhat, retro-gaming is always good, ALWAYS, which gets me excited for Mega Man 9. Kukuku~ I can't wait to get back into the good ol' side-scrolling blaster, it gets me tingling just thinking about it. *shudders*

In regards to PTCG, I've played it on the ever reliable GameBoy Colour back in the day and despite my initial thoughts of it being a horrible rendition of its RPG counterpart, I really enjoyed it. Aside from that though, I can't remember anything about it besides always needing psychic energy cards, since my deck was filled with the like but I could never attack or use their abilities. Dx Harvest Moon is always fun too, period. I've only played the 64 version though, so I don't know much of this perfect playthrough in HV:MT but good luck nonetheless. Besides, even if you are stuck, what a season to get stuck in. x3 /winter-love

Oh em gee~ let's see. *rubs chin* Lucky☆Star is good for a fun time and the most adorable characters to have ever been conceived (26 episodes) and Kyou no Go no Ni for really embarrassing, humourous and ecchi scenes of unbelievable proportions (4 episodes). Most of these are comedic and light-hearted as I've yet to find a short series to be as dramatic and intensive as say... Higurashi. x3 I read more than I watch though, I can cover an entire volume in the same time as I watch two episodes. xO

I can see invisible mode members now, so just so you know I counter-stalk more than you think. I actually caught you couple of times before; just didn't call you out on it. ;D

But hey, I'm a heavy-duty stalker myself. Common staff hobby, that. (If you look at some of these profiles, all of the latest visits are from people with colorful usernames; hah, that's got to be just a bit scary for the poor n00b at the receiving end xD)

As for me...well, I'm mostly trying to recover from last night. I had to stay up late to go and fetch Smarties after his school excursion thing and then I got stuck in front of the computer, so I think I went to sleep at like...3:40 AM or something. XD *Totally sleep deprived* In general, I haven't been up to very much outside of the usual messing around the forums. Been stalking random people on the forums, followed up a few interesting discussion and doing some retro-gaming on the side. (Still love the old pokéTCG game, even though my bench-hit deck is pwning basically every opponent in there so hard it's not even funny <3) Oh, and I've been doing my perfect playthrough thing for Harvest Moon: Friends of Mineral Town, but playing back and forth with the save states to get those friggen' cursed tools is such a pain (I've dug up that one magical level ten times now and still no hammer; random generators have always hated me. :<), so I've kind of gotten stuck on the winter season. XD

Oh, and I've also been looking for some kind of fun, short anime to watch through, but I'm not having very much success on that front. Any suggestions, oh great otaku? :3

You caught me for that brief second but just so you know, I stalk you way more than you think. >3

Anywho~ just writing some things RP-related accompanied by a series of fanart of things and such and such that caught my interest. Also reading Yotsuba&! on the side because it makes me feel happy. |D

On that previous notion of stalking I was just admiring your conversation about friend requests. T'was a good read. xP

    You?

x3 Yes, it was one of those spur of moment things, coming out of holidays and all, I thought I'd do something to mix things up a little. I just hope Phanima's still there in 4 months time, I don't think I can live without it. xD

Oh yes, CARD GAMES, I've made it a priority to get in a post or two soon, seeing as how I seem to flourish when I'm occupied with uni, whereas on holidays I lose all motivation. D: Quite strange really, although I think it's simply come down to being a really good distraction from working.

Oh, which reminds me... Tacey's detour, temporary I'm assuming? I suppose internal affairs within family businesses never let die. xD

Other than that, I've been chipper. Catching up with a few people I haven't seen for well over a year, so that was fun but other than that, I've resumed my usual amateur otaku status. xP Highlight: horror mangas. >3

And how about you? How have you been?

Dude, you gave me a scare with that username change. For a moment there I thought some random n00b had gone and posted in my RP and that I would have to chew them out for it. XD

Oh, and I gather that you have been missed in CARD GAMES, so if you could at least drop by at the OOC thread or something I think it would be appreciated. :3

Business aside, how have you been? ^^

Oh yeah, it was wild. XD *Pokes latest addition to signature PC family*

    ...

Okay, actually that little matter is completely unrelated to my getting out of the army, but it would have been quite the welcoming party. XD And that's okay, I think it's good to have at least one person who won't scare the living daylights out of Laure...okay, embarrass them out of him and turn him into a stuttering twit, yes, but there's a slight difference in there if you look closely. :3

Besides, the plot will flow a bit smoother if not everyone is a crazed egotist. ^.^

Haah, yeah, sorry for being tardy. I just got back from my holiday trip myself. Kicking myself for missing your coming back party, which I'm sure was all the rave. x3

Well, it's not always a bad thing with the cast being made up of such...unique characters but it is somewhat intimidating since my character is so, uh...not. xP But I made her up ages ago and never got the chance to use her properly so I thought it was due time for Kao to get some screen time.

Oh, and sorry for taking so long with finishing my sign-up, I know you said you prefer waiting instead of making reservations and reading rushed posts but I feel like I'm dragging it out a little. ^^; *braces self for an all nighter sign-up*

I arrived three days ago, actually, but thanks. XD It's good to be back. :3

As for the title...yeah, well, I was listening to a song from the TWeWY soundtrack that some charitable human being had uploaded on YouTube when I was typing that so it might have affected my decision. XD

And, like, it's nice to see something of a more...balanced character, for lack of a better word. There seems to be quite a bit of egotists and downright sociopaths about. XD

Rena says "hurrah" for outlandish metaphorical headings in roleplays. :3

No idea when you get back but I assume its soon, that or it's already happened, but regardless...on behalf of myself, I'd just like to officially welcome you back. <3

Oh yes, don't regret a single backspace and umpteenth rewrite, nosirree. It's just too bad that I can't continue working on that scene here since my fic scribbles are saved on my harddrive. :< Anyways, yeah, the fic will be released eventually; that's something I promsied myself when I finally settled on the basic idea sometime last December. But first, it will have to go through my endless nitpicking and I'll probably want it beta'd as well, first fic anxiety and all that. xD

And yeah, I can't say I seriously suspected Takano, though I do recall thinking that she was more manipulative than just plain airheaded from the way she played Keiichi in Satoko's arc. The 'dead body' joke she made was also a hint...or at least looks that way in retrospect. Still, I didn't expect her to be the big bad until Kai. xD

And yeah, Keiichi getting shot was just screaming for a dramatic 'nooooo!'. I mean, the whole arc had been about solving deep-roted issues in the world, so you just had that slight hope of 'maybe it's going to work out this time around', ne? And yeah, seconded on Rena's final speech, though she already made 'cool' in my book for having the awesomest psycho laugh in the show...along with the funniest expressions. :3

Anyways, thanks on the comments on my profile. I was getting kind of tired with the generic scheme, and then I stumbled across this lovely Wailord x Skitty (my favorite crack ship) pic and decided to put the two together. (the colors from the scheme are all from the piccy, in case you didn't notice)

Also, good luck on cleaning up those piccies. Me, I couldn't find a single one despite my endless image searching, go figure. Ahh...if only veoh would allow screencapping these things would be so much easier...

Well as long as you're having fun writing it, bar the mistakes, I'm sure it'll be worthwhile. It sounds really interesting though, I can't wait til you post it up...you are posting it up on PC, right? You have to! Oh...I'm getting myself excited now. xP And don't worry about replying every chance you get, I prefer this over instant messaging anyway~

I honestly didn't suspect Takano at all tbh, even after she started raiding the storehouse with Tomitake, I thought she was just being nosey. xP She was more mischievious from what I perceived in the first season, but it didn't really surprise me when it was revealed that she was the one behind everything.

I gotta agree with the 'almost there' attempt as well, that was by far the most suspenseful and adrenaline-high chapter. When she shot Keiichi, I was like "omg! no you didn't!" but I did like how the whole group started to dissipate as they continued to run away. And you gotta hand it to Rena for her final speech before facing Takano, she became the definition of 'cool' in those few last seconds before she died. :3

    And I finally found some semi-decent quality screens of Rena stealing Hanyuu (1, 2, 3)~ x3 Now I just gotta clean em up. =3=;

Liking the new pink profile btw, plus the Skitty + Wailord pic is cute. *w*

Ahh...don't we all wish we had that one in high quality? xD Well, thanks for these two, though the ultimate psycho laugh moment is a few seconds forward from picture numero dos. Still, these are definitely going into my collection. *Saves*

Anyway, totally agreed about kiddie Miyo; she's arguably the cutest one of the lot. Funny thing is, though, I actually took a shine to her in original Higurashi even though she barely got any screen time there. (I just loved the way she made a single, innocent-sounding remark that made Keiichi go out and commit brutal murder in Satoko's arc). Having settled on the idea that she'd be another one of those interesting but ignored side characters, the last plot arc was a very positive surprise for me. <3

...which is why I hate it all the more how they botched Miyo's big finale. The 'almost there' one before it was awesome, though, and even the finish did leave a lovely picture of a deranged Miyo pointing a gun, so I guess things could be worse. xD

Anyways, sorry for being so sluggish with these replies. It's just that I've finally found the opening I like for a fanfic of mine (gee...only been looking for that for like what? Half a year now?) and I've even found my writing mood, but there are some difficulties as I am essentially trying to write a narrative from the viewpoint of a person whose mind and - with it - memory are detoriating as the narrative progresses. Not the easiest thing to describe, alas, but what can I say? I love my twisted little plot bunnies. Plus, it's a blast to write, even though I have to hit backspace after every second sentence or so. xD

Totally~ they were great comic relief, especially when Hanyuu was introduced as a real person. I literally laughed out loud everytime Rena tried to take her home. Cx But I agree too, by then, all the suspense had been shot, it was more about how Miyo would react to their 'will to defeat fate'. Oh, and she was totally cute as a kid~ I finally realised it was her crying in the opening of the second season after her past was revealed. :O

Heh, I just realised that those articles I was reading were like a year old. ^^; Oh wells, it's all still crazy stuff, I mean really, I don't wanna be waiting at a bus stop just to get a random axe in the head. =3=

Oh~ and I found these after you mentioned it, although the quality isn't that good either. Rena #1 and Rena #2. I wanna get a high res screen of Rena stealing Hanyuu. x3
