April 25th, 2011 8:36 PMMegaSlowBro.Haha! Yeah, I can see (or rather) hear that. Last year for Health, I had this teacher from the East Coast with a Boston accent...
The nasality increased tenfold. -
April 25th, 2011 8:23 PMMisheard WhisperYeah, so in other words I missed it by just one year. :(
I went to America for two weeks (for the National Spelling Bee lmao) back when I was 13, and by the end of that period, my voice had a tinge of that American nasality to it. -
April 25th, 2011 8:12 PMMegaSlowBro.Darn. D: It's popular subject. :P Is it only limited to the class below yours?
Haha, she misses it. Her accent dropped a while ago (back when I didn't know her - went to the same middle school without knowing each other), but some words just seem to stick with her. x3 -
April 25th, 2011 8:05 PMMisheard WhisperAaaah, Psychology. They introduced that as a subject at my school this year! :D . . . for the year level below mine. D:
We're a funny little place. -
April 25th, 2011 8:00 PMMegaSlowBro.Oh~ Ok. xD In the US, school starts in August or September, then ends in June (if you didn't know already).
I'll be taking Japanese, Psychology, US History, and the 3 core classes next year. :P
New Zealand? I have a friend that used to live there. :D -
April 25th, 2011 7:38 PMMisheard WhisperIn New Zealand, school starts in February and ends in December. :x
I'm taking History, Classical Studies, Spanish, German, English and Maths. -
April 25th, 2011 7:34 PMMegaSlowBro.Really? O: Are you a year round school? What classes are you taking?
Feels like the first day of school again with these questions. >.< -
April 25th, 2011 6:57 PMMisheard WhisperI'm just getting started, dammit. I'm currently in the holidays between first and second terms (out of 4). The workload is gonna kill me, I can tell.

April 25th, 2011 6:47 PMMegaSlowBro.I've been getting so many huge projects this quarter T_T I liked last year better - we just relaxed 4th quarter and goofed off... :P
-
April 25th, 2011 6:20 PMMisheard WhisperFair enough, fair enough. Schoolwork is important and all, I understand . . . ugh.
-
April 25th, 2011 2:00 PMMegaSlowBro.Sure, I'd like that, but maybe over the summer? I think I'll give it my all and do my best in school first. >.< Then I can have all the time I want to write :D
-
April 24th, 2011 9:11 PMMisheard WhisperAwesome. I'd be happy to read it, if you like.

April 24th, 2011 8:02 PMMegaSlowBro.tl;dr = too long; didn't read. The ultimate in lazy jerkassery.Haha, nice definition - I can see it in dictionaries in the near future xD
Sounds like a good explanation. I'll write some paragraphs of an old story tomorrow at school :D -
April 24th, 2011 7:21 PMMisheard WhisperYeah, it's much more logical than dumb old English.
tl;dr = too long; didn't read. The ultimate in lazy jerkassery.
\o/
Yeah. It's the creation of struggling writers desperate to pin their lack of productivity on something other than themselves while simultaneously avoiding insulting anyone else involved in the writing process. -
April 24th, 2011 6:33 PMMegaSlowBro.Same here. I found it way easier to understand and speak Japanese by learning how to put it all together.
Haha, I agree with you there. I don't even know what tl;dr means >.<
Really? That's cool - I'll go check it out sometime :D
A myth??? O: Wow...I guess we're all just being lazy then xD
