It's okay. Like I said I wasn't offended, okay. Yep, the internet is pretty cool!

I actually think they're funny and cool :P I wish so too... maybe I should make a wish for that in the corrupt a wish... wait never mind... because if it gets corrupted then...

As you can see this is why Saucy made the Ice types vs. Fighting type thread. He was trying to retaliate against that certain pokemon.

BTW the only way to get it off is by having either Saucy to remove it with his privelages or ask a mod. I'm gonna ask now, okay.

BTW you said you had cousins in Michigan, what have you noticed about them? I'm just saying that they've lived in the US and you've might noticed stuff like not having the accent or acting slightly different then a typical Canadian.

Sorry for saying racist :( But the internet is pretty cool...People from all over the world (Besides some communist countries and poor countries...) can connect :)

And I'm not offended that you think our accents our cool. Sigh...I wish certain fighting-type pokemon names would be banned forever.

It probably is and really it doesn't look like we've distorted you guys that much. I think really those Americans might have just been so rude and Prejudice (You kept saying racist. It's not really racism, but Prejudice) that you guys thought that they were like typical Americans.

Wierd thing is that we were watching a film on stereotypes in drama. It was on specificly African Stereotypes though.

Ah, I get it. The OU is pronouced like OO, right? Some people say Flapjacks down here, but it is considering kinda unsophisticated and Redneckish an American stereotype commonly refered to people who live around the states of South and North Carolina (They split during the American civil war). Rednecks are looked very down upon and well I personally think it's wrong. I don't understand the differences between Father (Father is pronouced similar to father here too) and Vace (Are you talking about a vase. I think it might be spelled differently here). Some people do add "eh" to the end of thier sentences as well, although, it is more common to say "huh", however I'd personally use "eh" in the case you used it in below.

As you can see thier is neither discrimination against Canadians here nor is there much difference. BTW I like accents, I think they're kinda funny, but cool!

(Oh, by question three I meant what is it like living there...Like a summary of everyday life in America...It's probably not too far off from here though :) )

Oh, well most of us say aboot. Not all Canadians have accents though...But I do, so here's some of the things that we pronounce: Aboot, soory, flapjacks (pancakes), oot (It's the word out), veiz (vace), fawther (father), and eh. (We don't ALWAYS say eh. It's like when an American says this: "Nice weather, huh?" It basically adds on to a question)

    1. Canadians (Not what you expected, but yeah...)

    2. That you like maple leaves... You say somethings funny like aboot instead of about... other than those no one really cares about Canadian stereotypes.

    3. Could I ask you to be a little more specific by giving me an example of what exactly you want.

Don't worry as a whole Americans don't really call you anything, you guys just got stuck with some jerks. BTW I was wondering if it was actually true that you guys say about like aboot? If so what other words do you think you might pronouce differently? I hope it doesn't discomfort you, but I just wanted to know if it was true or false because I don't know.

Don't worry I don't take any stereotypes seriously unless I know if they're true or false. Americans don't say "huh" all the time, okay. They just say it if they don't understand something or are idiots! My guess, if you guys really do have accents then they say "huh" because they can't understand you.

I'd be happy to help you out, okay.

Hey Frozen :) I have a few questions about the U.S., so here it goes:

What do you refer to us as? When we talk about the U.S., we usually say "Down in the states"

What kind of stereotypes do you have of us? No offense, but here everyone thinks you say "huh" all the time :3

What is it like living there? Just a general statement please, if you don't want to go into anything too long. Thanks :)

Hmm... I've always liked learning about different countries! Ah, that would make sense (about the cousins that is).

Yep, a lack of diversity stinks!

Ah, I thought you were implying this month, but wasn't completely sure.

I have no idea and I'll check the Ice Fanclub right now!

Yeah, of course I don't mind if you shorten it down to the U.S. :)

Our economy isn't doing so great either...But our dollar is stronger then yours, for some reason. It's cool that you're diverse, also :) My ancestors were French, English, Russian, and German. I consider my self Canadian because even though I have different ancestry, I was still born in Canada. Oh, and I have cousins in Michigan :) But we're like 500 miles away so we don't visit very often...

And that stinks. I think the school systems should be as diverse as possible.

    February.

P.S. When do you think Kev XY..Oh I mean .Swift......Is going to even look at our SUs? I don't think I can wait until "He feels like it"...Oh, and I posted in the Ice Fan Club :D

Geez with people like that I wouldn't be suprised if you didn't like "Americans". I always hate how they're the only ones who are called Americans. America comes from a Spanish explorer :P. You probably knew that though. Do you mind if I shorten it to U.S. It takes a while to write out the whole thing.

Really the United States of America is not all that great, it's just different and large. They have a terrible economy. Not to mention the high crime rates, drop-out rates, and list of bad leaders. I know my Metric system, okay :P I like it better because it's easier! I know several international terms so I know which countries use which systems ;). I don't really consider myself an "American" though because I don't have any British ancestors and honestly I don't like how ignorant some of them are as well! Geez, if I could move to Canada I'd take care of those punks regardless if they were "American" or not! I have a strong sense of justice :P

In the U.S. you can't take foreign languages until High School! I wish I could move to Canada.

    Wait... what month?

(Thank you for not saying "America"...I don't mind it though. But that's one of the things those two racist kids at my school keep talking about. They keep saying that the U.S. is better because it's on North America and we're on North America too. I tried to tell them that there is an OF but they won't listen...)

Our educational system is pretty much like yours...Except we use the Metric system for math, while the United States of America and England use the Imperial system.

I've been learning French since 5th grade. It's a requirement in my school district.

And my B-day was on the 17th.

Geez, I feel like a Canadian Dunce! I didn't know anything about Canada that you mentioned except that it was broken down into provinces. The United States of America (I don't want to say America because it is too general of a term. America refers to the Americas, which are both South and North America. Also the United States is not the only country on North America. There's also Mexico, Guatamala, San Salvador, Costa Rica, a few other countries, and the carribean areas like Jamaica and Trinidad. There are also a few islands as well like Cuba, Puerto Rico, and the Dominican Republic) also has territories so I figured a big country like Canada might have them as well. Puerto Rico is one of ours.

I actually wouldn't mind hearing more about Canada. I'm also interested in hearing about the educational system there too because I'd like to know about different systems of different countries. I'll be glad to tell you anything you want to know about the United States as well.

How long have you been learning French for? I've taken three years of spanish.

Then that means that we're the same age. I still think you might be older though... My birthday is in may.

    Yeah...The manga is ALOT better.

Well, Canada is split into provinces and territories. I live in a province, but I've been to the Yukon Territory. The provinces were created by Constitution act. The territories were created by the federal government.

Nunavut, the inuit speaking territory, means "Our land" in Inuktitut, an official langauge of Nunavut. Quebec probably wants to split so it can be apart of France, or it's own French land...That's why alot of Canadians hate Quebec. At least all of the kids at my school do.

Well, I'm in 9th grade and I'm 14. (Not trying to insult you) But I go to an academy, and at my school we have to learn French. So that's mainly why I know French

Yeah, I don't really watch that much either. Eight years ago when it came out it as better, but now it lacks the Omph of it in the past. The Manga is good though.

Yeah I thought you might be able to help. After all you know much more about Canada than I do, but I know more about Florida and the rest of the states :). BTW Canada is split into Provinces, right?

I like the Quebec trying to split away from Canada part. Don't know why. Also I thought that might be the more French side because that was where most of France colonized. I didn't know that Quebec was trying to split... It's probably because we never really talk much about Canada. I wish we would talk more about foreign countries.

I think you might be older than me... Random thought...

Yeah...I don't really watch the Pokemon Anime much, though. They made it kind of...Meh.
Glad you came to me for help :) Well, in 1982 Canadian Law became mainly independent...But that's 6 years off, lol. I do have one that's kind of big for alot of other countries, though. In 2001 NATO starting leading the war in Afghanistan, which Canada joined. Canada also recognized the Inuit government....So it became a territory called Nunavut. And in that timeframe, and now, Quebec tried and tries to keep splitting from Canada. Quebec is basically the French part of Canada. But I won't go to much into that...There's alot of other things that you should look up :)
