You just want me killed off.

I think if you make fun of her, it also speeds up the process.

I definitely see your point, focusing solely on graphics is something that games fall into a lot. I like me some crisp graphics, but when they sacrifice gameplay then it's a problem. Some things, though, I'd like to see graphically enhanced. Like a pokemon game for a console, that is something I'd give someone's arm and leg for (not mine, of course, then I couldn't play it :P)

Well one, the pressure of super high realistic graphics are super costly, and can shut down / bankrupt studios. Also Realistic graphics, they get better, leaving the previous "best graphics ever" crappy. This ranges from the dated but now releasing Devils Third, or even last years entry to a annual series, even going back to old titles like GoldenEye 64. Yet games like Legend of Zelda: Wind Waker, Wario Land: Shake It, No Mans Sky, will still look great. Of course PC game mods, like you gave the example of Skyrim, it can make the game look better, but if you have to mod the game to still look amazing this soon?
Thats not saying I don't appreciate the higher graphical abilities or games, but when graphics get put above gameplay, music, story, single player, ect, it becomes a problem.

You're not a fan of super graphics? That's a first. Everyone else I know is all like "Yuss this game has the best graphics evar. Skyrim mods 4lyfe. The quality on this game is soo good I thought I was playing life for a second."
-
Compete graphically? Eh. The 3DS does great, some games look great too for a 240p screen. Wii U can hold its own. I actually don't like it when games try to do super graphics, its bad for the industry.
-
Haha you have a point. Shouldn't that be making an updated system to compete with the rest of the market?
-
Lol the DS isn't meant to be comparable, it's two gens ago. But even then.
-
The only nintendo I've tried is the nintendo ds and I've been decently satisfied with it. The games are pretty fun even though they're not the graphical level of these next gen consoles.
