May 3rd, 2009 11:07 AMLucentOh my, forgive me for not replying back to your VM. Sometimes I get lazy and forget to respond XD
Aye, Maryland's been cool lately. We've been getting a lot of rain XD And I'm rather happy to be back in my old school now. Even though I won't be getting a laptop 'til next year.
By the way, love the Amu theme. Shugo Chara is one of my new fave series <3 -
April 18th, 2009 1:48 PMMelodyYeah the public schools down here suck, it's hotter than a griddlecake fresh off the griddle, and yeah I'd say you're fairly lucky...I went through 14 years of public school hell. x3
But I don't blame anyone but the school system for the trouble. ('tis certainly not my family's fault, they couldn't help that private school was beyond our means, and they always stood behind me whenever the school pulled their BS on me)
I'm not sure of the weather in maryland, but It's probably waay cooler than it is here. x3 it gets up to 80-90 degrees on a regular basis, especially in summer. -
April 18th, 2009 1:42 PMLucentDoes it really? My mom and I know a few people living in Texas, but I don't know too much about them since they moved away. The only good public school in Maryland is probably Elementary School, but then again, everything's so innocent there you don't realize that there's anything bad about public school and public school kids until you enter middle school. That's why I changed over to private school after completing 7th grade.
I suppose I could say I'm lucky my parents try to pay the 20 grand tuition to keep me in private school every year. My dad helps, seeing as he's the only one with a real (and definitely secure) job, so I'm happy where I am :3
Is it hot down in Texas? 'Cause up here in Maryland it's pretty hot. Well, at least for me XD -
April 18th, 2009 1:35 PMMelodyHehe yeah, Metrics based upon an adult body tend to be wildly inaccurate on teens and growing children.
Yeah, definitely. At least you have all your family nearby. :D
Yeah, it's always a relief when you figure something out that you didn't notice before, and it's doubly relieving when the whole family figures that out :3
Blah. Yeah Public school isn't all that great, even in Texas it really sucks. x3 (But when you can't afford better, what choice do you have? Especially where the compulsory attendance law is concerned) -
April 18th, 2009 1:26 PMLucentXD Yup. Went from age 80 to 25 (then again, Wii Sports's Fitness Test is designed for adults and not kids/teens like me, so it's not like it was completely accurate earlier and now).
At least my dad lives in the area. It would stink if he weren't there, you know? D=
My mom is actually glad that my stepdad got laid off twice. It supposedly taught us things we would've have figured out if we were still living in the same house XD But I like being back in Maryland now. I liked North Carolina (where I moved to a couple months back), but I just didn't like the private school I attended there... Reminded me too much of public school... -
April 18th, 2009 1:19 PMMelodyHeheh. Well at least some good came out of all that hard work. :D
Awww. Well I hope you get to settle out and get used to your surroundings again. :3
I know moving can be a little stressful. x3 -
April 18th, 2009 12:38 PMLucentYup, gotta love them (though most of the food was somewhat inedible... ^^'). And I do hate busywork (though it gave me a Wii Fitness age of 25... XD).
It is? Oh, that's awesome~ Life is...meh for me, but I just moved a couple weeks ago (after only moving a couple months ago), so I have to adjust to where I'm living yet again (thankfully, it's the same state I was in before moving a couple months back). -
April 17th, 2009 8:22 PMMelodyHehehe. Gotta love school trips. (Don't ya just hate busywork?)
Sitting idly, and amazingly, I think life is taking an upward turn for me at the moment. -
April 17th, 2009 5:27 PMLucentWell, thanks~
I'm doing fine. Well, now I am XD I got back from a big school trip, where we had to work on a farm (we pretty much did weeding =X), and it was exhausting. But I'm better now~
So, hopefully school/work/etc. is going well for you? -
April 9th, 2009 4:54 PMMelody*shrugs* You seem to be nice enough.
I'm doing fine. You? -
April 9th, 2009 2:21 PMLucentHiya~
How are you doing?
And any reason for randomly VMing me? *shot* I don't mind, really XD -
