    Hey! How are you?

    Sorry for replying so late, I had my exams. ^_^"

    Well, I have an 88 in that class including the two playing exams I just took. XD; And nah, we play in the "circle of love." Sometimes we reserve the school an auditorium and play in front of our classmates there.

    Oh...well, that's slightly less jerkish of them to take it then, I guess? Still, though...

    My dad. (;3;)b

    Don't worry. I'm sure that it won't affect your grades much. ^.^" Oh, I thought it was a solitary exam. You know, one gets to perform in the room alone and the others have to wait until the examiner is finished with you.

    Well, their father was the one who bought me it, so.... It doesn't anymore. I barely have time to practice. ;_;

    Who's going to buy you the guitar?

    It was mostly nerves than anything else that made me bomb them. xD; The fact that my friend who sits next to me always freaks out during one of these playing tests doesn't help either. XD

    They just took it and claimed it's theirs? That doesn't sound right. :/
    I'm getting my own guitar after exams. \o/

    I'm glad you passed the last one spectacularly! =] I'm shocked that you bombed the others. :O

    Yeah, it's theirs now. ;_; Don't worry, one can only improve in time. ;]

    Pretty well, actually. A 95/100. Much better than the 78 and 75 I got on my previous two solos. xD;

    So you can't get it back? :o As of this point, not too many songs I can play well on the first try. Chord progression and finger-picking I'm generally well-off, but note reading is something I'm still slow on.

    How did you do?

    Ha ha, I used to have one, until my cousin "borrowed" it and never gave it back. >.>' Besides, I'm more of a bass player. What songs can you play?

    I can look at my notes if I want for the solo, but I generally memorize the songs because reading the notes would just confuse my playing. >>;

    I'm sure you might have heard of this before. A standard classic guitar, Yamaha C-40. It's what I'm comfortable with at this point, so that's what I'm getting. :>

    So, only a couple months, huh? Are you allowed to look at your notes, or do you have to memorize it?

    I've never heard of that before. Ooo! What guitar would it be? :3 Sweet dreams and don't let the bed-bug bite~

    The first time I picked up a guitar and playing was...the beginning of this semester. I think techniques was the hardest because there is one concept I haven't fully grasped: notes reading. Even if I can tell what they are just by looking at them, my mind can't transfer that to playing in an instant, and that's one of the things we were required to do. >>

    Well, not any, but the one I've been working on (Greensleeves) I think I got down pretty well. I'll be getting my own guitar soon so I'll be working on other songs as well. Ah, I think it's time I get off for the night. Have a good one.

    The third one seems to be the hardest. How long have you been practicing with the guitar?

    Oh, for the solo part, can you play any guitar solo? :D

    Hehe, thanks. It's a three part exam: Technique, a solo, and a writing test on music theory and guitar history. And I'm taking a Guitar class, of course. One is offered at my school. :3
