January 11th, 2011 9:33 AM-Jared-Talking baout this has made me want to go get a couple decks and duel my brother. >__> XD
-
January 11th, 2011 9:31 AMAquacordeI think we got one or two premades at some point, but lost cards and added from boosters and eventually gave up on doing things properly.
-
January 11th, 2011 9:28 AM-Jared-My brother and I would get the pre-made decks, so we didn't have to worry about having the right cards. XD
-
January 11th, 2011 9:24 AMAquacordeWe said "Screw the rules, we don't have all the necessary cards."
If we had actually had all the cards, we mighta played fair. -
January 11th, 2011 9:22 AM-Jared-...That's pretty much how the playstation game played. And I hated it. >__<
XD My brother and I played with all the rules in tact.
Remind me not to play Yu Gi Oh with you. XD -
January 11th, 2011 9:18 AMAquacordeWeird... for a game, anyway.
My brother and I always played like:
> You don't have to sacrifice to summon
> You don't have to do fusions to summon
> You don't really have to do anything to summon -
January 11th, 2011 9:15 AM-Jared-Well, the games and the TCG are the same thing, really. Especially this one I'm playing. It is the most realistic in terms of rules. I had a playstation one that threw out the rules completely. :Like, no rules whatsoever. 0__0
-
January 11th, 2011 9:11 AMAquacordeOoh, I thought you were talking about the TCG. ^^; Never done the video games.
-
January 11th, 2011 9:09 AM-Jared-XD What kinda of modifications?
I ask because I downloaded the rom for a GBA YuGiOh game I have but haven't played in ages. It is fun for two reasons:
AR Cheats for all cards available in the game=Epic Pwnage.
Save States allow for epic cheatage. XD -
January 11th, 2011 9:07 AMAquacordeYup. Still play once in a while with my brother. But we always modified the rules to the extent that we were playing an almost completely different game.
-
January 11th, 2011 9:06 AM-Jared-XD Yeah, exactly (though I never saw that episode. >__>)
Hey, did you ever play YuGiOh when you were younger? -
January 11th, 2011 9:02 AMAquacordeApparently they've been fixing that as of late.
Like when Ash saw an Articuno and whipped out his Pokedex, after 2000? -
January 11th, 2011 9:01 AM-Jared-That always bothered me about movies about shows. The events were never brought up again. >__<
-
January 11th, 2011 8:56 AMAquacordeThat one was pretty good. And the movie events actually had some impact on the show.
-
January 11th, 2011 8:55 AM-Jared-Oh, I forgot about Lucario. Again, only a part of it, but yeah. XD
