I assume you mean minutes. If so, then... What can you do?

You can do whatever you wish to with the characters, although I'm not sure how Nammy would act towards the change.

Ah. Painful. Still, Nammy admires Matsu enough that he'd probably agree. At least he'd see the point in training, unlike Kenji.

We'll... just... have to... see... won't... we...?

You study inverse matrixes in algebra? I didn't know that.

    Arr, me hearty.

I'm a little occupied at the moment, but I'll see what I can do here in, say, fifteen or so.

Hah, that's ChurchXTex, to the letter. I jsut have to see where it takes me.

You mean, like a godfather? Matsu MIGHT agree to that, on a condition; she's appalled by Kenji's lack of combat prowess, so she's "training" him. She might agree to let Nammy be the egg's Godfather if he trains with them, too. And this is Matsu. You probably have a vague idea of what her training is like.

So, how long you think you can keep it up?

Sadly, most of that is from my standard Algebra courses. Equally sad that I understand tehm so poorly, having already taken and barely-passed them.

Ooh, ooh, does "Pirate" count as a language?

Fingers crossed. Well, you haven't exactly been in the gym long enough to have over-described it, yet. Even I haven't had a chance to.

Nah, I like them the way they were before, to tell you the truth. But those personalities sound very interesting to write.

Aw, but still... Well, Nammy wants to be the egg's uncle then.

    ... Thank... you... I... guess...

Ah, well so long as I never have the need to understand any of that, I'm happy.

Wow... my head hurts. Don't forget all the different dialects in England alone. Or was that a few hundred years ago?

Yeah, but there's only so many times you can do that before it becomes redundant. Even more so if it's in one place. I'll come up with something tonight. Hopefully.

I'll work it out. Or if not, I can just turn Kenji into a self-absorbed, cocky, lazy a**hole, and Matsu into a bloodthirsty, sardonic b****, but seep sown they truly care about each other.

Oh, no! The child isn't with them; Matsu left it in the care of the Pokemon Center. Kij tried to use it as an excuse to leave her behind (that whole "she's only risking her life because of me" thing), and she reluctantly leaves it in the care of the Center (after violently threatening everyone there should anything happen to it, and demanding to be imformed immediately if it even appears to be about to hatch.) Kenji's nervous about the whole "fatherhood" thing, but he'll give it his college best.

    Well, I applaud your commitment.

    A little of both, actually.

I suppose you'd even have to take THOSE languages and break them up into the regional dialects, too, sice those are like whole other languages as well.

Go, you. I find that I never really have trouble getting up a decent-sized post, because I just can't help but blabber on and on and on, repeating phrases from many of my posts from before over and over and over again. When in doubt, describe the surroundings and fill in the detail. When in doubt of the surroundings (as I often am, in rps), describe exactly how your character feels about everything (and then some), add in some exaggeration and perhaps curse the parents a little, and ta-da! You're done.

Well, good luck with the tinkering of personalities and everything. I wish you all the best.

So... a Pichu, and either a Pikachu and Rai, or two Rais, depending on the adjustment of the timeline. Perhaps Nammy can act like the uncle who doesn't do anything but try to spoil the child to death?

    I'm... not... sure..... Maybe...

Yes, I was wondering whether you were making up those planes or whether you were speaking in some advanced mathematical/scientific jargon.

Hah, you'd have to seperate Australian from that, too. For one thing, a "thong" over here is something you wear on your foot, not a type of underwear.

I know, I came up with a whopping three sentences. Not so much a post as a postcard. I'll try again if not shortly then tomorrow.

I'm thinking of re-tooling Kenji and the KenjiXMatsu relationship a bit. I originally based Matsu off Tex, from RvB, and I think it'd be more fitting if Kenji was a bit more like Church. I realise this is more or less Greek to you, but it's just me brainstorming. On second thought, maybe not. I dunno.

Oh, and don't forget the "Matsu's a mommy" part. Though she might not be so embarassed about that; she's the type of mother who watches her kid's every move like a hawk, and "greets" her kid's friends with a twelve-gauge, or in this case, twelve thousand volts. She'd be fine with that, but threaten a violent death to anyone who doubts her parenting skills.

Getting tired of talking like that yet?

And dimention planes that don't physically exist?

English, Japanese, and Chinese are among the hardest languages in the world to learn. Actually, we should even be making the distinction between English and American, but I'm too lazy for that.

You haven't posted yet, and even if I wanted to I couldn't do another post because I was the last one to do so, and I just don't really like editing my posts once they're up... unless they have some silly mistake in it, like if I confused somebody's name or gender or something.

I did say he'd risk death by Matsu for the knowledge. Ah, but he'd probably feel a bit lonely for a while after finding out before deciding that he shouldn't be feeling sad. The sappy, thick-headed Pokemon.

I... don't... (Can't see the point, really. And yes, I realize I'm not gasping or talking with my mouth full of mollusks in between these brackets.)

Lagging in an outwards spiral. (I think it's lost or something, after lagging in so many directions.)

Well, I dunno what Chinese is like, really. Never tried it. But I'm told that English is fiendishly difficult for foreigners, especially because of all its rules, it's exceptions to the rules, and its colloquialisms. Like, um... "take a leaf from their book" (to take one from my halted fic) or "look what the cat dragged in".

By teh time you've read this, if I've already posted, feel free to reply. If not, post if you want, and I'll reply.

Oh, I honestly doubt Matsu'd tell him of her own volition. More likely, it'll be Kenji himself who brags about it, and while Kenji's shamefully bragging and Nammy's listening with awe or whatever, Matsu'll probably fry them both, Kenji for being an idiot, and Nammy just for knowing (though once she's past the initial anger, she probably won't care...surviving the initial outburst is the crucial junction)

    I try.

Lagging conversely to a clockwise ratio.

"Interpretation" is the key word there. You could be writing a letter to someone, and when they see that symbol you think means "cloudy," they're going to think you're insane or at least a little unstable for thinking the sky is "Confusing."

Well, that is what we've been doing the whole time in the rp, so I guess we should be okay.

Well, if he finds out that Kenji is her girlfriend, he'll probably be overjoyed for her (and risk death by Matsu).

Well... you're a... very... smart... young boy... aren't you...?

    Lagging clockwise.

Really? Can't read Chinese, except a couple isolated words and the numbers 1-99.

Ah, all this planning is getting us nowwhere. Let's just post and reply, okay?

Hah, you know what else occured to me? I wonder how Nammy'll react when he meets Matsu's *ahem* "companion."

Well...since you're not gasping in the subsequent dialogue, I'm gonna go with...no.

    Lagging in an inverse matrix.

Japanese Kanji is literally taken from Chinese; most of the characters are either exactly the same or very similar, with the only real difference being interpretation.

Oh, I don't know. Apart from feeling like she's not helping her cause or her Pokemon at all and fretting about them, Sar's not exactly a restless or active person. She knows she can't help, so she's busy trying to resign herself to that.

Or... maybe... I'm... gasping... out... my... final... breaths?

    Lagging horizontally.

Well, the Jap characters are very similar to Chinese ones, and their numbers are exactly the same. But I'm told that the pronunciation of the words is closer to English.

Sar wants to do something to help, right? Matsu's gonna get impatient with the siutting around doing nothing...and I doubt Sar's enjoying the not-doing-anything, too....

Know what? Lucky guess, I....guess....argh, saying that was like chewing a mouthful of glass.

    Lagging perpendicularly.

Well....I suppose Chinese is similar to Japanese in that true fluency is next to godliness. Most Japanese aren't even truly "fluent." C++ is a programming language. Syntax, too, but it's so old that see previous comment here.

Ah, if he started denying it, Sar would probably just shrug at him and look away disinterestedly. She knew he was lying (having just seen it all despite her best efforts not to), and probably expected as much, since he was human. Gosh, self-loathing as a species...

    How... did you... know...?

    Lagging around.

Fluent? Ah, well, I think I'd be on the intermediate level for Chinese. My father once joked that K.Rudd (our prime minister, in case you didn't know) spoke better Chinese than I did. What's C++?

Well, he'd obviously be quite embarassed. If he became aware that Sar knows, he'd start vibrantly (and failingly) denying it, even going to the point of denying he even said anything (though MAtsu won't care, she knows he's lying). If she pressed the issue enough, he might get defensive and try to drop or change the subject. Again, poorly. IF she still kept pressing, eventually, he'd admit to it, and become a little bitter and reclusive for a while. Remember, he's trying to give off this air of indifference, and he just blantantly shattered that image. And in front of someone he's not on good terms with.

Wierd. When you talk like that, it just sounds like you're having trouble talking. Like, you have a mouth full of molasses or something.

    Lagging inwards.

You're fluent in Chinese? Also, forgive my ignorance, but what is Shung-Hainese? And Latin...lol. I know a small amount of Spanish, and can read Katakana and Hiragana, as well as (very, very little) Kanji. I also know a teensy bit of C++, which is techinically a language. Also Syntax, but that's so old I can't even picture a scenario where I'll ever use it.

Well... Ikiji has to notice the others, right? And get over the fact that he just said those incredibly sweet, sappy, cheesy things in front of two people. One he doesn't really know, and the other a person whom we all know he doesn't get along with very well. So how would Kij feel about that?

    ... If you... say so...

Lagging downwards? That sounds about right.

Well, the most obvious one is Chinese (Mandarin), and I can understand basic Shung-Hainese (however you spell it), I can read Latin (thanks to school; I'm sure Latin will be VERY useful for future life *being sarcastic*) and (through association) understand some Cantonese words.
