Okay, I'm on. But keep in mind that I'm playing at my grandmother's, so A) I'm playing on a tiny TV from like the mid-90's; B) I have to put up with a VERY annoying cat; C) I'm sitting on an itchy and ancient carpet, and D) It's hot as holy word-I-can't-say-yet-but-can-in-four-months in here.

So, please don't be angry if I'm off my game.

Yeah. They aren't doing you any good. Find someone who'd be potentially more interested, or better yet, another fanboy. It's like me blathering about Zelda or Pokemon to someone who only plays Xbox.

Also, I grew up almost strictly on Nintendo systems. My brothers have a PS2, but the only thing I was interested in playing on it was DBZ Budokai games back when I was a fangirl, and the original 3 Spyro games, which I was only exposed to because my friend in middle school had them back in the day on her PS1. Everything else I play/grew up on (except CD-ROM ports of a couple old Sonic games) is Nintendo.

Also, N64's been around 13 years, but you can't get them for 20 bucks. Not outside the internet, at least.

Back on the topic of Brawl, let me have a snack first, then I'll get on. :3

Yeah, sorry about all that. Like I said, my MGS fanboy kicked in.

Yeah, I figured as much. No one likes the PS3. It's lonely...

Just asking someone about it just doesn't convey the effect. You can look up the cutscenes, but even that won't have the same effect as actually playing.

Well, fifteen years from now, when you can pick up a PS3 and MGS for $20, just give it a try. Until then, oh well.

Well...um. Whenver you want to Brawl, just let me know. I mean, we can Brawl now, if you're not busy, but if you are, then let me know.

PS: No more random MGS rants from now on. Maybe.

Oh yeah. I'm gonna spend 300 bucks on a system I never intended to get just to get one game that's completely outside of the types of games I'd play just for the story. I'm not really that keen on that genre of story, either. Spies and bombs and military stuff just aren't my thing.

Couldn't I just like, read about it someplace? Or just ask my IRL friend who also likes MGS. I mean, it sounds cool and all, just not to play or spend my money on.

Well, shoot, I dunno a specific time. There's no such thing to me on days like this where I'm just doing whatever.

Sensitive type? (warning: MGS FANBOY ALERT MODE)

If you like emotional stuff, then you should get a PS3 and MGS4. Even if you're not into MGS-style gameplay, just play it through on the easy difficulty (which can literally be won with zero stealth) and watch the excellent storytelling. It's almost more like an interactive movie than a video game. And the story and characters are simply epic. I'm not a sensitive type, but there were parts in this game where my eyes were watering.

Of course, my fanboyness also requires me to recommend you play 1, 2, and/or 3 if you can, since playing them beforehand makes 4 so much more significant. Even if you don't want to play them, just look up gameplay videos or like the like on Youtube.

At the very least, there was a movie-like remake of MGS3 with playable areas replaced with cutscenes, so you could look into that. MGS FOREVER.

Okay, sorry about that. Beat MGS4 again yesterday, and I'm still caught up in the ending. My MGS fanboy kicked in, but it's over now. Again, sorry.

So, it's 4:30 here. What time (my time) would you feel like Brawling?

Well, I can't predict the future, but if I'm not doing anything or dealing with neighbors/eyeballs, sure. :3

I think yesterday was the first day in weeks that my neighbors stayed quiet. It was quite nice to be home all day with peace and quiet (save for the crazy thunderstorm last night). Hopefully I'm not jinxing myself by saying I hope they're quiet again today. Also I noticed that watching movies helps my eyes, since I'm a big baby and cry during every sad/joyful part no matter how many times I've seen the movie. Real tears beat eye drops any day. :3

Alright, I'm bored with waiting. I'm going to leave her a message, then I'll head upstairs to my Wii.

    Meet you there.
