January 18th, 2011 7:42 AMtnguye3Well, I geuss I'll add that line later (like, really later lol). x3
-
January 18th, 2011 7:38 AMChesuIt's fine as it is, the center just seems a little bare.
-
January 18th, 2011 7:36 AMtnguye3Ah I see what you mean.
I don't know, I seem to like the single line better as it's well, more simpler. ^^
But if you really want the two lines I'll edit it during the Weekend. (most likely Sunday) -

January 17th, 2011 2:31 PMtnguye3So basically I should add one more spike thing at the bottom right?
Sorry I have trouble understanding this lmao. xD -
January 17th, 2011 2:07 PMChesuThe lines on the root. The ones going across it horizontally.
-
January 17th, 2011 9:25 AMtnguye3Yeah the Pokedex entry is good. ^^
And what lines should I edit specifically?
Cause you were talking about the size...size of what? xD -
January 16th, 2011 3:41 PMChesuOh, hey, so. Did you and Scarf ever decide on a design for Carotoss? The version with the three spikes at the bottom ended up in the first post... Is that the one you want to go with? I have an entry written, but don't want to submit it until the design is finalized.

PokeDex: Carotoss anchors itself in place with its three spurs, giving it the leverage to lift much
heavier objects than it could otherwise. It has been known to lift and throw things over four times its own weight.
If you do go with that one, you might want to modify it a bit; specifically, the lines/grooves don't really match the smaller size. Maybe move the one in the center up a bit and add another under it? -
January 9th, 2011 3:23 AMtnguye3Yeah, traproot sounds good, and all the names fit with the carrots. :)
Rootle also sounds kinda cute. xD -
January 8th, 2011 11:04 PMChesuOkay, done with the other Pocklemaanz, time for carrots. How do Rootle, Carotoss, and Traproot sound? Traproot because the spots on the tentacles leaves make it look poisonous and dangerous.

January 8th, 2011 3:47 PMtnguye3Hehe can't wait to read em. ;)
-
January 8th, 2011 3:34 PMChesuMaybe a little. :D
Those are my examples of not-quite-right names, though. I may use one of them, I'm not sure. I'm currently writing PokeDex entries and such for some of the concepts I already have posted, so will get to the carrots after that. -
January 8th, 2011 3:27 PMtnguye3To me Caroteen sounds more like it could go for the basic stage as it sounds like [Carrot] + [Teenie] while Taprunt sounds more intimidating. :>
good job on the names nontheless, mine were (before I even uploaded the carrots) Karrot, Walkrott and Karrytrap... xD
Fail name much? xDDDD -
January 8th, 2011 3:01 PMChesuPokemon naming conventions CAN be a little tricky. The most common is type trait plus physical form... Charmander, Squirtle, Treecko, et al, but it's completely overused. You can use other traits to mix it up... the "age" of your Pokemon relative to its evolutionary line, interesting features on it, just something cool-sounding... I could call the carrots Taprunt, (taproot runt), Caroteen (beta carotene teen), and Carrotoss (carrot boss or toss), but naming an entire line after its evolutionary position is laem.

January 8th, 2011 2:07 PMtnguye3Yes please do.
The names I come up with are abominations. xD
