Apart from just taking contact, I was asked if I could release an updated patch of my Buu's Fury hack from early 2011, and I apparently can't update the main post unless the thread is revived first. Could you possibly do that?
Yeah, wouldn't be such a good idea to either;
1) Leave everything unsanwered or
2) Tell to contanct Fuji instead...
But that's pretty much about it. Talk to ya later sometime, unless of course, you want to change the subject to something else. I hardly ever talk to anyone in PC really. It's facebook all the way.
It has also do with the "level of thinking" I think. There's that gap when you notice yourself being interested in other kinds of things than when you were 13 for instance.
Aaaaaaaaaaaaaah sorry >.< I only use the phrase when talking to staff members so I forget the abbreviation makes absolutely no sense otherwise. "Demoted Leave of Absence"- I was busy with all that stuff I mentioned, and so I thought there was no point in being a mod during that time, since I'd have no time to deal with any requests and stuff. If I'd remained modded, people would have sent PMs and stuff, and if I'm not here to answer them, I'd just look negligent XD
I don't see myself modding forever, sure, but I think I'll last another little while yet, anyway! :)
Good thing I, as a foreigner, live in a highly educated country so speaking or writing in english ain't a problem but yet I still can't pick anything out of abbrevs others use...
Well anyways, I totally see what you mean though. I wouldn't have time to moderate this forum myself either when studying for exams (which are at the university level too). But I just felt like putting that up, as a joke mainly, since I did think you left for good. I mean, why not (many other previous mods have "retired")?
I was only on a DLoA, it was never going to be a permanent thing. I had my University exams, and along with that, I'd done 2+ years of relatively constant moderating, so I felt a break was called for. :P
It's possible at least for staff members to edit polls (as opposed to flat-out deleting them). It wouldn't be the worst idea to have the poll-poster be able to edit them, though- I'm not sure if that's something that's ever been discussed. You should bring it over to Ausaudriel: http://www.pokecommunity.com/member.php?u=11848
As far as I know he's the tech head and if this were something to be implemented, he'd be the one implementing it. :)
Thanks. The thing is that most people voted for the option I wasn't going to go for so I thought, yeah might be better if the poll was taken out so people wouldn't be pissed off of me not taking their opinions in consideration. But yeah, good to see it could be done just like that.
A question about it though; I personally made some typos (or even bigger mistakes like not explain a whole lot) when putting up the poll and noticed later I couldn't edit it just like that. Would it be possible to make it so the one creating the poll could freely edit it him-/herself too?
