Yes, it is sad though...We'll see how the show turns out once aired.

I don't see him losing at the league either, wouldn't make sense after all these losses to lose again. I just wish they didn't take the route of depression again.

Well, you were the one who said the anime has a history for repetitiveness, so I don't see him losing to Paul at the League. I'll be mad if he does. >( But really, that's the only see that might cause problems for Ash. Otherwise the rest of the anime is fairly straightforward.

That is true, Gary seems more likely to bring back Ash's esteem and then later Ash will crush Shinji...Oh such happy thoughts.

But Misty's not really a trainer, is she? If it's a trainer-to-trainer thing, it'd make more sense to send Gary.

Yes! Now you see, but I really do wonder how Ash will pick up his self esteem. It'll be funny to see Misty come in as a cameo to raise him back up just like how May came in to raies Dawn's esteem back up.

Then he can have the most epic battle of all time and I wouldn't have a problem with it.XD

Well, Pokémon is very known for using repetitive procedure. However, what if he learned a new strategy? /o\

I know, and I like it, but they've pretty much spammed that move throughout the season in various battles and episodes. It's just getting repetitive, you know?

But why, it is technique. It is something he never really utilized in his earlier days as a trainer. This is the basic reason why I like the new anime, it shows Ash has learned a lot more through the years.

I guess. And I'm sure it'll make all the Caveliershippers happy. ^^; But I swear, if Ash has Pikachu use that spin attack again, I am going to go insane. >.>

Well, the last time Ash and Gary had a little battle Ash wasn't as experienced as he was now. Not to mention, the writers may think of making Gary use something known to Ash and he counters the move enabling him to make a win. I would like to see this, another epic battle for the least.

But Gary creamed Ash before. If he lost now, either Ash suddenly got really good as a trainer or Gary threw the match. Or Ash uses the ultimate attack-main character Deux Ex Machina! XP

Oh well, maybe it might give in some hope to have Gary come in, battle Satoshi, and he regains back his confidence.
