I have a ton of gum laying around; I should get started, I guess. Though sitting in one place and chew isn't going to improve my eyesight much, hahaha.
Yep, it is pretty cool. It's a 4-day event in another city comprised of various classics-related competitions in athletic, academic, and entertainment fields. I was so looking forward to participating this year since last year I had to move around a ton of times (I think there's a Latin conference for every state and province). Too bad, though. This is no world for cheapskates like me :<
For a lot of kids, a 65% is a blessing since the classes are pretty tough. Probably not as tough as Ireland's, but I wouldn't know. And Calc shouldn't be too tough; just pay attention in the functions section of the course you're in right now. Ahhh, so sleepy and tired. Seeya later...*yawn*

Chew gum. Lots and lots of gum. Sugar free of course. :3
Haha. Uh... Yah, private school is expensive. It costs us like, an arm and a leg... -_- Ooh. Latin conference?? Sounds cool. $350 doesn't sound cool though... Eh. For a missions trip I have to save up somethin like that. But that depends on which I choose to go on, if any. (There's one to Korea... expensive... But there's less money ones. To Las Vegas, California... Yah.)
Eh. That's weird. If I get less than 80% in my math, I get dropped down... -_-'' And then I'd be depressed. Wow. Classes sound tough there. English is one of my personal favorites. I can't help thinking how killer Calc is gonna be next year though... Bleh. I;m better at the classes that have no real right or wrong answers...

Well, somehow, I'll have to make a commitment to stay off the computer....I'll need something else to distract me....
I wish any of my schools had one of those when I was/am around for it. Everything in this school (and my past ones), I have to pay for. And they're 's not even private schools, either >>; I was looking forward to going on a provincial Latin conference this year....until I saw the $350 price tag of attendance *o*
I used to take advanced classes when they were available (as in when I was still in the States). Canada doesn't have advanced classes, though; everyone takes the same classes. The exception being English, Bio, Physics, and Chem, all of which have an AP course (save English) after the first course is finished. Like I said in the other threads, though, regular classes in Canada are killer. They're designed so that nobody can get 100's, and no extra credit is available...the only silver lining is that passing is a 50%, though that doesn't mean much to me >.< This means that I dropped advanced English....I see no point in doing that class anymore.

    Well that's not good...
Fair day is the day we get outta school early so we can go to the fair. LOL. Um... It's a pretty big fair too. Lots of animals... And delicious food. Oh and students get free tickets. And my best friends family owns a burger stand thing there so my parents got tickets free too. :3
Wow. I hardly ever have biology homework. Haha. I love my biology teacher cus he sounds like a doctor or professor when he talks. >,<
And ouch... Hard courses next semester. I have most classes all year. Like my english class and math and all that stuff. Weird. I'm actually pretty good at English. I'm in an honers class so yah.... Plus I'm a math class ahead of what sophomores usually take at my school. But I'm actually pretty bad at math... I only do well because I force myself to get at least b's on everything... =.=

I might need to go to the doctor's again soon for an eye check up. I feel my eyesight is not going as well as it had before....I feel old.
    Fair day? What's that? :3
Oh well, this semester's easy for me. The only 2 classes to expect homework for everyday is Biology and Latin. Other than that, not much work. Next semester's probably going to result in my 3rd PC hiatus, however: Chem, Physics, an advanced Senior math course, and English (arguably the toughest subject for me).

Haha. Old?? Going to the doctors just makes me feel... sickly. Or something like that. >,<
My homework was only like, five minutes, cus today was "fair day" and we got outta school at 11:45 and went to the fair. :3

I don't like the idea of going to the doctors', since I it makes me feel vulnerable and old...
Sweet. We'd have to take a long bus ride to get to the nearest church, seeing as we don't have a car right now. That might change soon, though.
Probably a good idea. Well, I'm off for homework right now....yay?

Haha. I just generally don't like the doctor's office. <.>
Ah. Our church is only like, eight minutes from our house.
Mmmm... I should prolly email my friend back too...

It wouldn't have been that bad, I guess. Just the wait time :/
Since my family lacks effective modes of transportation, all religious stuff are done around the house. I have an altar right behind me, ready for all ceremonies :>
Thanks. Speaking of that, I should reply to this extra e-mail my friend sent me.

Well that's lame. Well... At least you got groceries?? >,< Maybe. Least you didn't actually have to see the doctor.
My family... I dunno what all of them are necessarily. Think most are Catholic or something on one side and... Meh. Whatever. I've been going to the same church for all my life and not really planning on changing. :3
Ah, not really a big deal. ^,^ It's not like, you're ignoring me or something.

Meh, either way, I'd be a tad happier.
If you haven't heard me mention it ten times already, the doctor's office is closed today, so it was a pointless trip. My family ended up grocery shopping in a store nearby.
And perhaps I should convert to Buddhism or something, then I get many lives on Earth! :D But nah, I can't betray my Catholic faith...my family's basically half-Catholic and half-Buddhist on both sides :/
Sorry I'm so lazy when responding to these. I usually only get around to them when I'm about to go off with some time left.

Or you'd be completely lost like me. :<
I know... and that's wrong. But whatever. Sometimes people bring their own ruin by making dumb decisions...
Eh. I don't really like going to the doctors either. <,>
Well, I think you should just go for whatever you want in your future. Abraham Lincoln did that and he failed like, a million times at all sorts of things. And now he's all famous and whatnot. I mean, I think if you really wanna be or do something, you have to take the chance. You only have one life on earth. =/

Sometimes, I wish I didn't know my stuff....I'd be a much happier person.
Meh, some places are partisan enough that they're willing to look over corruption and lies to elect someone who's generally in line with their philosophy. Charles Rangel is a good example. His money laundering is infamous all over the country, but he's elected and re-elected over and over in his Congressional district.
Today, at least, I'm not having sympathies for doctors >_>
But for now, they can. Oh well. I have to suck it up and go to the doctor.

Wow. Very valid points there... You know your stuff.
I guess to most people, yah, image of the candidate is really important. But what comes from that?? They elect someone and less than a year later, his approval rating plummets. It's just dumb...
Well, a doctor is a good proffession for someone who wants to have a lotta money... But really, I think being happier is more important. And yah, once you're outta the house, they can give advice but they can't force anything on you...

Mine, too, since I'm clueless as to what to do on my own right now.
For me, being a doctor is a ton of work for very little reward. There's fierce competition just to get into med school. Even in the most lenient of med schools, the acceptance rate is lower than the Netherlands. And only ultra-smart people are applying, too. Then comes the fight for residency, people suing you for whatever the heck they feel like..yaddah yaddah. And the pay is hit hard after income tax.
Image is half of politics. Being a native son gives you a real boost in elections; that's how Bill Clinton won Arkansas, an ultra-conservative state, by such a huge margin first time around.
Probably the option I would pick right now. My dad strongly discourages the route he took, and advise me to become a doctor, though. Oy, indecisions...Oh well, he says once I'm out of the house, I have to take care of myself. Hopefully, that means I can make my own decisions, too.
