July 15th, 2012 10:17 AMAquacordeHopefully! But the educations systems are really different between here and there iirc so I don't know if my learning will hold up?

July 15th, 2012 8:03 AMEsperBy the time you're done with school maybe jobs will be easier to get. And you'll have had all that time to meet people who might be your eyes and ears to possible jobs.
-
July 14th, 2012 11:10 AMAquacordeYeah. It sounds fabulous, really. The Midwest has all this open space with nothing in it that you have to drive through to actually get anywhere. It's just so big. England seems quite a bit more compact. :> I just hope I am able to get a job there after going to school here. That's my main worry. ;;
-
July 14th, 2012 11:01 AMEsperOh, that sounds nice. Anywhere in England and you won't be more than a short trip to some big city if you ever get tired of the countryside.
-
July 14th, 2012 10:57 AMAquacordeYeah, she's seen all those. And I'm just kind of like "well... if you were fine starting with Nine, why not Three? or even just seeing Eight's movie?"
The north of England, hopefully. It seems like a nice place which is not so different from Minnesota that I can't handle but different enough that it will be new and exciting. -
July 14th, 2012 10:51 AMEsperI hope she's okay watching the 2005+ series at least. I don't think it ruined my classic Who experience in even a tiny way.
Where are you moving to? -
July 14th, 2012 10:45 AMAquacordeOoh lucky! I'm the compiler-person for my group of Doctor Who people and most of them will watch in whatever order but one of them absolutely refuses to start Classic with anything but An Unearthly Child. I fear she may never end up seeing any of it because by the time I get that 'Beginnings' set I'll probably be about to move out of the country. :(

July 14th, 2012 10:37 AMEsperI'm lucky in that I have a source. My friend has a lot of the DVDs and has downloaded what doesn't exist on DVD. It's a little slow that way (we've been working on this for over a year) but it's still fun.
-
July 14th, 2012 10:30 AMAquacordeWell, you do get development in the companions. And some things are in loose arcs as well. Like the Ark in Space and Key to Time and Trial of a Time Lord.
...you know talking about it makes me want to go watch it all in order. But I have to go find them all and augh expense. D: -
July 14th, 2012 10:26 AMEsperFor some reason I've limited myself to sticking them in order even though there really isn't any continuity.
-
July 13th, 2012 9:23 AMAquacordeYus it is~ Haha I've just been watching it as I can get/find/see it though. Like one day I'll be watching Fivey on a livestream and a few days later I'll have my brothers begging me to bring them some Sixie DVDs and then I'll end up watching One on Netflix. xD;
-
July 13th, 2012 8:00 AMEsperClassic is fun. I'm watching through it all in order. Just got to Davison a little bit ago.

July 12th, 2012 10:38 AMEsperJust thought I'd stop and say hi to another DW fan.
