Whoa, sorry, just saw the edit. :o Now I'm a little confused by this but this must be one of those things where people have mixed it up so much there isn't a set answer for anyone. x_x So there is no right and wrong...?

I don't know I am confused. Wikipedia says they are the same then right under it says they are different. >_>

Edit: Okay I get it now. Your sorbet is the same as our sherbert. But our sorbet is different from your sorbet. @[email protected] God I hate America right now

Actually sherbet has no dairy or eggs usually but it can.

I was pretty sure there was a slight difference between sorbet and sherbet. \o/ Like, sherbet had dairy or eggs in it, where as sorbet is just lacking the dairy/eggs, so then sorbet would be icier. But I guess americans would overlook something like that. :( Oh well.

Sorbet and sherbet are exactly the same. Americans just call sorbet sherbet. Why do Americans change so many words? >_>
