December 31st, 2009 8:29 PM.little monsterxDD Are you on crack? <3

December 31st, 2009 8:04 PMComrade Nikita IvanovaActually, the other day for a few seconds I couldn't figure out why the glass in my room was empty. xD Luckily, I figured it out pretty quickly.
I need to, like, hire someone to follow me around and point out things like that for me. xD -

December 30th, 2009 7:42 PMComrade Nikita Ivanova...Now why didn't I think of that? xD
I always overlook things like that. I should be used to it by now. -
December 30th, 2009 7:26 PM.little monsterTurn off your speakers. XD
-
December 30th, 2009 7:25 PMComrade Nikita IvanovaI know, but it's hearing them when I'm first trying to learn them that throws me off. I remember things better when I try to figure the pronunciation out myself.
Of course, some times I get the pronunciation wrong, then feel stupid because I've used it a bunch of times in conversation pronouncing it completely wrong. But at least then I remember how to say it correctly after. xD -
December 30th, 2009 7:12 PM.little monsterBut you have to hear to learn. xD
-
December 30th, 2009 7:02 PMComrade Nikita IvanovaI don't know, I tried it today and it was kind of confusing me. I think it was hearing the words that threw me off. o:

December 27th, 2009 7:09 PM.little monsterxD Wow. Livemocha teaches you useful stuff AND numbers! O:
Livemocha lets you read, see, and hear them all at once. O: -
December 27th, 2009 7:02 PMComrade Nikita IvanovaI might have to check that out. I found this application for my iPod that's supposed to teach Russian, but most of the words were really pointless words that I'd never use. It didn't even have numbers or anything, yet it had potatoes and ice skating. :/
I actually understand things much better when I read them. I guess I'm just odd like that. xD I do spend most of my time reading, so I guess it's understandable. -
December 20th, 2009 7:40 PM.little monsterwww.livemocha.com That is a free, online language learning site almost exactly like Rosetta Stone, only people who actually know the language judge your writing and audio submissions.
If you read a textbook you might not understand it. You cant just read and understand science. ;_; -
December 20th, 2009 7:32 PMComrade Nikita IvanovaSounds... confusing. Luckily, I don't know much German. Maybe it'll be less confusing that way. xD As bad as I am at learning languages with someone teaching me, I'm even worse trying to teach myself. I keep asking for that language teaching software, but it's really expensive. D:
History is the only subject I actually like, really. I don't really like science. Our science teacher we have this year makes us do all these annoying experiments and projects and everything. Personally, I'd just rather read a textbook. -
December 20th, 2009 6:58 PM.little monster:3 That's good. Haha, Russia is very hard language, I am sure of it. Also, if you confuse Chinese with German, you will confuse Russian with German, since a lot of words are similar. XD Russian has noun cases, which is like very conjugating but for nouns. Oh, and it has 3 genders, like German.
History is interesting and fun to learn, but it's not the best subject in my opionion. History about Russia is very interesting though. From Medieval times to Soviet times. <3 Love it! But Science is better.
