Oh. That guy. He... I don't know. I always got this kinda stalker-vibe from him. Plus, I never made it all the way through Ruby or Emerald.

I agree that the friendship thing is over done like an Oddish blasted with Heatwave, but it was cool for the time. What you're saying about the second movie's plot is spot-on, but we could never have that now. Nintendo got REEEEEALLY ****ing happy with the Legend button, and now nothing makes a goddamn bit of sense anymore. Plus, the Post-2000 anime screwed things up further. Baby Lugia, my *******.

I forgot about the third movie with Entei. It was slightly convoluted, but I don't have anything against it, since there really isn't much of an origin story for the Johto legends. "They died in a fire; now they're back." Whatever you say.

Oh yeah, definitely. After the 3rd movie they all went down hill. I do like the 3rd movie though, if only because of Entei but with Lugia in 2000... it's a tough call to make. You don't remember Steven? ... He was the champion? He was like... the pimp in the whole generation of games, plus he used Steel types which alone is ungodly amounts of cool. I think the whole friendship thing is getting a little old and they need to add more factors to it than solely that like in the 2nd movie. Power of one and everything, you know?

    Neat-o. 8:3 (The '8' is ears. It's a dog.)

I honestly don't remember Steven. D: I agree with what you said about Johto. I think that the best thing that it had that has yet to be duplicated is its awesome villian. A somewhat-inventive, plausible character modile that grows through learning about the power of friendship? Yes plz.

Also, the second movie was by far the best. Talking Slowking secured him a place in my heart forever.

Exactly, nostalgia value is pretty much the same reason I use the 1st and 2nd gen way more than the others. 2nd will always be my favourite though, it was the turning point for Pokemon. It had the best species, the best features, the best story and originality. It all goes down hill after that it seems. (Although Steven in 3rd gen, I adore him. He basically makes the games for me.)

    LOVELOVELOVELOVELOVELOVE.

    Suffer!

Yeah. Cats are evil little creatures.

I really don't like the newer stuff either. Shellos/Gastrodon are cool because of the whole dual color scheme thing, and Driflloon/Drifblim are nice 'n chilled-out. Weavile is about the only new evolution that I don't detest (Electivire's meh; Magmortar's ugly but so was Magmar). Yanmega absolutely ruined Yanma.

Besides my feeble protestation, I also use the Kanto/Johto Pokemon because of the nostalgia value. Pokemon is a meditative thing for me anyway; why not use what makes me feel the most at peace?

I'm definitely a dog person, cats... Never too bothered about them at all. Dodrio and Butterfree are cool, it's nice to see someone who likes some of the lesser used Pokemon. 2nd gen are my favourite, as for after that, well... 3rd was okay but the 4th gen to me just all look fake almost. Unoriginal too, Nintendo is really loosing its grip but what can you do.

I'd rather not suffocate too if that's alright with you.

    Suffocate.

Hmm... I think that at this particular moment, my favorites are Butterfree, Slowking, Dodrio and Victreebel. I like your choices; I've always been a dog fan (I know that Mewtwo doesn't count, but he's still *****in').

I'm not using any post-Johto Pokemon out of protest.

Well, I've never had a set favourite but it varies between Mewtwo, Umbreon, Entei and Arcanine. Barren profile? I quite like it this way, rather the occasional message rather than suffocating through showers of love and attention. God forbid if that should happen, I'd be running away.

I'm just here to show some love to your somewhat-barren profile. <3

Also, I wanted to ask you what your favorite Pokemon is (considering that this is a Pokemon forum and we have yet to discuss that particular topic).
