Scratch what I said. You're right. D: I don't use UnlZ to insert tiles. I guess I put that as a option with Advance Map. Even though they both work, AM is easier.

I don't recall saying using UnlZ to insert tiles. What I remember saying is to change the graphics of FireRed you can change the tiles using Advance Map or use UnlZ. When I say 'use UnlZ' I meant you can use it to change the graphics of FireRed. Tile inserting was just one thing you can change in FireRed graphically.

Well, a recent post of yours (meant to remember which it was...) said something which I disagreed with, about using unlz to Tile Insert. That method... Is kinda cruddy to do.

I guessed it was. I personally love mazes, unless the Wild Encounter Rate is Super High! Then I get annoyed...

I know what you mean. All the maps I made, I just make into a random shape, and I love making mazes.

True, but for some reason, I have a sense of whether my maps are good or bad without people telling me. Before I finish a map I check for things people don't like squareness, emptiness etc.. Then I check what people do like....like playability, originality, style, grass placement etc... Using that, I make the final edits and to me it looks decent.

He can't argue about that, and also, if you don't show maps, how do you know if they are good or bad?

Yeah I guess you are right. Show an unfinished version to be criticized and then keep the finished version...

    OK, thought I'd say that.

Also, you should have the right to at least show maps to be criticised. You made the things, so you actually own them. He doesn't have to say not to show them. You should be able to show them, but then make sure the finished product isn't shown...

OK, I will, also, the maps are too square at times, and also, the mountain patterns shouldn't follow each other on the layers. *Deleting*
