July 31st, 2009 6:46 PMA lil FagadorableIts Mardi Gras everday in New Orleans
xD
Or at least it seems like it as to how many people are always on the streets.
I think you'd like it here! ^ u ^
Very peaceful for the most part.

July 31st, 2009 6:43 PMEucliffeMy parents got the chance to go to New Orleans once (before Hurricane Katrina, of course), and I believe they did in fact get to attend Mardi Gras while they were there. I'd like to go sometime, since it's a state I've never been to before (I want to try and visit as many states as possible).
I can understand the whole humidity thing, since it is further down south from Maryland XD And actually, it sounds like it could be a new sort of experience for me to try~
I'm also an amusement park junkie. If there's an amusement park I hear is supposedly awesome, I most likely want to go to it. And that's where my dad comes in, since he's the only one with an actual job atm. -
July 31st, 2009 6:39 PMA lil FagadorableLouisiana's pretty if you can stand humidity on a regular basis.
xD
I love it here.
o u o
But sometimes it's so muggy & humid, its like your breathing water.

July 31st, 2009 6:37 PMEucliffeMm, well, you never know. Whatever excess stuff you learn might come in handy one day~
And of course I don't want them living TOO close (though I really don't care, to be honest, just as long as they don't bug me everyday for whatever reasons). But depending on where I end up, I might be somewhere they'd love to live, inspiring them to live closer. Like Seattle (which I've never been to) or North Carolina (seriously, if given the chance, I'd live there again). Probably not Colorado or Vermont though (the other places with colleges that strike my interest). Plus, my mom's eldest sister lives in Vermont, so I'll still have family there nonetheless XD -
July 31st, 2009 6:31 PMA lil FagadorableIm wanting to get into one that works all fields of body fashion. Makeup, nails, and hair.
Im GOING to be a hair stylist, but i wanna get a little more knowledgable with the other two.
x3
You want your parents to live close?

July 31st, 2009 6:29 PMEucliffeXD I like my school just because it's not like your average private school. Plus, anyone who enters the high school gets a free laptop to keep, so to speak 8D
Mm, is there any sort of cosmetology school you're looking into?
I can't wait to graduate either. Means I can finally broaden my horizons a bit~ Plus, depending on where I go, it gives my parents a good excuse to move near me XD -
July 31st, 2009 6:27 PMA lil FagadorablexD
That's why I like Public school...kinda
xD
I can wait until I graduate. Its off to cosmeotology school I go!

July 31st, 2009 6:12 PMEucliffeWell, they are the remains of whatever rodents the owl might have eaten XD
I think, overall, these sorts of sciences interest me. We don't get science all the time at the school I attend, but every once in a while. It's the same with social studies/history.
Math and Spanish, on the other hand... Though, like I said earlier, our math teacher is awesome XD -
July 31st, 2009 6:09 PMA lil FagadorableFinding skeletons in poo?
xD
Kinda odd, yes.
xD -
July 31st, 2009 6:00 PMEucliffeEveryone in my group was mostly afraid of taking any part in the dissection, so I got to do it on my own. In fact, one of the girls had to turn down taking any part in it and worked on classwork assigned only to her for the rest of the time.
One of my better times in that science class XD
Yeah, the heart did look cute <3 Makes me kind of sad though, having to dissect it. Though then again, I think I'd rather choose an actual dissection over a virtual one. Because you get more of a physical experience out of it.
My stepsister did have to dissect a cat in a college, though.
Hmm, and I did like finding skeletons of small animals in the owl pellets. Does that make me weird? XD -
July 31st, 2009 5:57 PMA lil FagadorablexD
I dissected a frog....ended up playing with the intestins with my friend.
xDDD
The heart looked cute though.
xD -
July 31st, 2009 5:49 PMEucliffeDoes it really? Hmm, never heard that before XD
Yes, brains are weird. At least I didn't get to stick a hand protected with a glove into one. But I did do that for a pig heart.
And then I forgot if I actually got to remove a brain when I dissected a frog. I highly doubt my private school will let us dissect anything (maybe feces, if anything; I actually did dissect owl feces in 4th grade) since it's really "in touch" with nature (and yet the school is in the middle of the city; at least it's in a nice part of it XD). -
July 31st, 2009 5:47 PMA lil FagadorableI know about the whole left right brain thingy. But they say it starts revealing itself more when you reach your mid age years.
IN GENERAL, BRAINS ARE WEIRD.
XD -
July 31st, 2009 5:33 PMEucliffeMm. Actually, what I found to be surprising was, when I visited the school I ended up going to in North Carolina ("Hell junior" as I call it), we took a test to see if we were right or left-brained. I ended up as left-brained for some reason, which is supposed to be more analytical. But, if you ask me, I'm a right-brained person, someone who's creative. I also learned in 7th grade science right-brained people usually controlled the left side of their body while left-brained person controlled the opposite side. Strange as it sounds, if it came from my science class, then it is most likely true.
It's also interesting to think of what each other's different thoughts on certain statements are. It's like how one sees the world. Someone might see the color pink as their pink, but someone else would call that person's red "pink". Rather confusing, and believe me, it gives me a headache thinking about it, but it'd be really interesting if it were true. It's just how our brain analyzes things in general. -
July 31st, 2009 5:24 PMA lil FagadorableOH. ok
xDDD
And I dont believe in all that "hooey" as you'd call it.
xDD
I think I get it.
xD
Of course we all have different meanings for the same things.
o.o
