July 31st, 2009 5:21 PMEucliffeOh, wait, I thought by you capitalizing "psy" you were talking about actual psychics, along with telekinesis and that sort of thing XD Sorry ^^'
But yeah, I believe in telekinesis and whatnot. And I guess you can say I believe in divination too. If I had the abilities, I'd want to take up fortune telling and read peoples' fortunes. Of course, not like everyone would believe in what I tell them, but still, it'd be fun.
A visitor that came to our school once said, "Treat your job as if it were a hobby; treat your hobby as if it were a job".
One of the quotes I actually get ><' -
July 31st, 2009 5:15 PMA lil FagadorableWait...you believe in what now?
o.o" -
July 31st, 2009 5:10 PMEucliffeOoh, I'd love that to~
I've always believed in that sort of thing. I know a logical person (or a left-brained person, if you'd rather call it that) would think of it as a bunch of hooey, but I've had enough experiences to believe it exists. My mother believes in it too, since, though it could be completely coincidental, most of the times she goes out either by herself or with others, a street light either turns on or off. And, I've had experiences where I think something, even if it's a joke, and it ends up happening exactly as I thought it.
My mom says that you create your own reality. As long as you say (in your mind, of course XD) something will happen, it will.
And yet, I still don't use that kind of logic to help build my self-confidence. Rather silly, really. -
July 31st, 2009 5:06 PMA lil FagadorableI think I would be a PSYcologist if I chose that field. Then I'd be able to give people that ink blot test thingy.
:3 -
July 31st, 2009 5:03 PMEucliffeYeah...
It's also quite interesting how people can change so quickly. Not only in interests, but also in personality, demeanor, and even style. Sometimes it's due to emotional issues. Sometimes it's because of real life issues.
I've had an interest in becoming a psychologist for some time now, to work with such people. Psychology strikes me as an interesting sort of science, along with forensics, and (though it's more of a pseudo-science) metaphysics. I suppose you could say childhood interests (Scooby Doo, in plenty of cases XD) has given me such interests (you can also blame my love of mystery/horror novels). -
July 31st, 2009 5:00 PMA lil FagadorableI know. Interests are uber uber odd. They're like bi-polar mice!
-
July 31st, 2009 4:56 PMEucliffeIt's kind of funny that you've decided to like them, since I -think- of all the Hoenn Pokemon (other than Groudon and Kyogre), they're the only ones that can learn Eruption/Water Spout. And actually, only Wailmer/lord and Kyogre can learn Water Spout O_O While I believe the whole Cyndaquil evolution line plus Camerupt and Groudon can learn Eruption (though, if you think about it, it makes sense that the Cyndaquil evolution line can learn it XD).
I've also come to like Turtwig and evos. quite a bit. I used to be a Chimchar fan, but I think it was playing three different games of Platinum (an emulated one, my imported one, and the American release) that did it for me.
Ah, how interests change~ -
July 31st, 2009 4:53 PMA lil FagadorableTrue dat. xD
I've come to REALLY like Camerupt and Wailord.
xD
Its odd. I used to hate them, now I love them.

July 31st, 2009 4:43 PMEucliffeIt is. Oh well, I guess it's better than running around naked. People would think you were either crazy, fulfilling a dare/a bet, or -insert other idea here-.
Mm, Mismagius, huh? Actually, that's been one of my more recent faves XD Just because of Misdreavus. I always catch one in my Pearl nowadays, and as soon as HG/SS comes out, if Misdreavus is -hopefully- in a decent place early on, that'll be one of the first Pokemon I catch.
I've also come to like Murkrow. Just because... I dunno why XD I'm starting to like a lot of Pokemon I didn't before. Like Munchlax XD -
July 31st, 2009 4:40 PMA lil FagadorablePeople judge whether they think they do or not. Its sad, but it IS instinct.
And yes she was.
I think you will too! I liked the 9th grade at least. 10th was even better, and hopefully the 11th will be too.
x3
(As a response from the "if you were a Pokemon" thread) I think you'd be a pretty Mismagius!

July 31st, 2009 4:36 PMEucliffeXD To be honest, I never judge people based on how they look, but for how they act. And, if you ask me, it's a shame that society today does, in fact, judge people on how they look. I only try to wear decent clothing because of that, but really, I think that it's a load of crap for someone to decide whether you're worth talking to or not just because of what you wear.
... That is an awesome teacher XD I'd so get in trouble for doing that.
Though, then again, our classes our small.
I'm gonna love to see the ninth grade this year. The eighth grade had, like, 9 students, and as far as I know, about two or three from 8th grade are coming up to 9th grade. One of them who's going to another school SHOULD be going to ours (personally, I don't think she'll do well in public school), but hey, her choice (plus, her parents' choice, since I think they wanted her to go there to try something new). And, actually, I got that person to get a PC account here XD -
July 31st, 2009 4:31 PMA lil FagadorableYes. My sensei was in the Marines, so he has a LOT of disipline. But he LOOKS like the most horrible guy you will ever meet, but he's actually the sweetest.
xDDD
I know. My English, Homeroom, Civics, Free Enterprise, Biology, all of my teachers are awesome.
xDDD
First week of school I brought my DS to play Pokemon in English class, and my teacher saw it, walked over, and said "Im sorry but I gotta take that". She walked back to her desk, and started playing my Pokemon, say "YOU LIKE MUDKIPZ???"
XD
It was amazing. -
July 31st, 2009 4:26 PMEucliffeXD I bet it is. It's also a great self-defense method, I believe? I know some people might try to take up a martial art just so they can be the best, but the -good- people (in my honest opinion) are the ones who take it up for self-defense, building self-confidence, and anything of that sort.
Older people are pretty fun, I have to admit :3 Even my teachers. Especially my math teacher. Yes, he may be an old fart, but he's pretty fun. He has all sorts of curious things to say, and one of my peers from 8th grade made the BEST speech about him at our graduation ceremony XD -
July 31st, 2009 4:24 PMA lil FagadorableWell, it helped me be able to talk to anyone! It gave me self-disipline, and self-confidence. And it's fun learning how to flip someone.
xD
But I was and still kinda am like that. Older people are just more fun to talk to.
x3 -
July 31st, 2009 4:19 PMEucliffeIs that so? Hmm...
I'm still a bit shy around people my age, though I'm fine when it's a bunch of adults XD My mom (and her old acupuncturist) said I have an "old soul" in an "adolescent body", though my adolescence has shown from time to time ^^' Still, it means I generally am able to talk fine with those older than me, generally around "adulthood", however old that may be.
Then there are people my age who are great with talking to their peers, but have a hard time talking to adults that aren't their relatives or teachers/instructors. And finally, there are those all-around people who can talk to just about anybody.
That's what I've noticed, anyways.
