January 30th, 2010 2:17 PMSarah PalinerNah, it's fine. It's better to be active in the real world than on a forum, anyway. XD I assume exams or something of the sort?
I tend not to like relationships like that unfortunately, since it can be frustrating to watch if it's dragged out for too long. xD; But if done right, anything can be enjoyable (or mostly anything). -
January 30th, 2010 8:25 AMOokamiShipperIt's okay. ^^ Actually, I think I'm the one with the VM problems, sorry, I've been so inactive. ^^;
"In denial," it's so...accurate. xD Yep, exactly, I seem to really enjoy relationships like that. xP -
January 23rd, 2010 8:50 PMSarah PalinerNot good; my forgetfulness is infecting VMs. >>;
Nah, it's not really a contradiction as much as it is I don't see how those two relate. XD; So, difficult relationships as in...it's one that may or may not become an actual relationship because the characters are in denial? -
January 20th, 2010 6:12 PMOokamiShipperYeah, I love Austria and Hungary too, they're so sweet together. x3
Yikes, I just contradicted myself badly, huh?
xP Um...I guess I meant obvious, but difficult. x3 (No I didn't...xD) -
January 18th, 2010 2:22 PMSarah PalinerOh, goody, more stuff we have in common. :D
Personally, the only one I care about enough to say I "support" is Austria x Hungary. It's so cuuutteee. ;D; Obvious and difficult? XD
I have a habit of over-analyzing the importance of a use of ellipses. I get highly suspicious for no apparent reason whenever I see one. x3 -
January 18th, 2010 2:11 PMOokamiShipperNope, that last sentence, I agree with completely agree. x3
Ah, Alfred x Arthur...Antonio x Lovino...those are the main ones that first come to mind. xD I like the....obvious and difficult relationships. ^^;
No, I don't really support those two, I use ellipses for many reasons...it's a bit of a habit xD (Oh, I just used them again. xP) -
January 18th, 2010 2:04 PMSarah PalinerI'd prefer deredere in real life, since people being mean to me while keeping their liking for me inconspicuous isn't entertaining. People being mean to other people while keeping their liking somewhat conspicuous while I watch is entertaining. /okay, I admit, that last sentence sounds really creepy.
Yay! :3
Then what Hetalia ships do you like? x3
The ellipses...that means you support Prusary? D: Ebilz! -
January 18th, 2010 1:53 PMOokamiShipperYeah, xD. B-but...tsunderes are awesome! x3
She loves everything about Hetalia, like me. x3
"pokes my name" I live for pairing up characters. xD (Especially for Hetalia...heh..heh...)
Yeah, those two...^^; I guess it's maybe that people absolutely enjoy love/hate relationships. -
January 18th, 2010 1:41 PMSarah PalinerMany personalities are more likable from a fantasy point of view. Psychos and tsunderes are dreadful in real life. XD
Shame. :/ Does she like the educational part of it, or is she just in it for the boy-love? XD
I normally avoid pairings and shipping altogether, but shipping countries is fun. :3 Still, some people seem to miss the whole point that they're countries. D: Prussia x Hungary doesn't make sense at all; they're historically neutral/unfriendly. o3o; -
January 18th, 2010 1:18 PMOokamiShipperI know two people who absolutely love her for that certain reason. xD
She's pretty neutral to it for now, but it's mainly because she hasn't...gotten the full effect. xD I introduced Hetalia to someone else who enjoys Yaoi and Shounen-ai, and she fell completely in love with it. x3 -
January 17th, 2010 4:26 PMSarah PalinerShweet. :3
Fanart number-wise, she's more popular than Hungary. D: I guess they like the psycho types.
How did she like it? :3 I went backwards in the fandom: anime then webcomic.
Meh, I've grown to embrace Hetalia yaoi. o3o -
January 17th, 2010 12:49 PMOokamiShipperYep. :D
BELARUSSCARESMEPERIOD. (And Russia, apparently) xD
Yep, most fans are wary about yaoi, since it's so explicit, so they tend to target shounen-ai (fluffier, toned down) instead. Like my friend, who was uncomfortable with yaoi, but didn't mind shounen-ai. So I convinced her to read Hetalia. xD
Yeah, sure. x3 -
January 17th, 2010 12:38 PMSarah PalinerEeeee, really? <333
I think Vietnam's design might be one of the more realistic in Hetalia, since the ao dai is a more commonly used national outfit than most others. Though I hope she won't become a Belarus to China if she ever appears; that'll just activate my innate nationalism. D:
I didn't know there was a difference, but now I do. :3
I don't know, that morning kiss Germany gave to N. Italy and Spain's marriage proposal to both Italys says otherwise. XD -
January 17th, 2010 12:27 PMOokamiShipperOh my, you love the same characters as mee~ <3
Yeah, but I think she'll be as interesting as the others when she does appear. ^^
Plus, she's cool looking. :3
Ah, I see. Yeah, it's not exactly yaoi, it's more on the shonen-ai side.
Plus, it's mostly just fanon that makes Hetalia seem that way. xD -
January 17th, 2010 12:22 PMSarah PalinerI like a lot of Hetalia characters; they're all so sympathetic. o3o; But Austria, Hungary, America, England and Denmark stand out or me. Vietnam would be too, but she hasn't appeared in any media yet. I'm Vietnamese, so yeah. :3
I already had a great interest in politics and history before Hetalia (*chuckes at my username*), so it was pretty easy for me to like. I approached it with great caution because I heard it was intense on the yaoi, but then I found out it wasn't so bad. I actually found it pretty funny. XD;
