That's harsh. :| I hate people who show up the first day and then wander off into the oblivion of can't-be-botheredness. -.-

I'll have a think about it, if that's okay. Can I VM you with any more questions?

If you're a Grunt, absolutely nothing. We have Grunts I literally have not seen since they joined.

Commanders kind of need to be on here daily in case they have been challenged, though.

I'm really swamped with university work at the moment (hurr she says as she VMs on PC), but what would the commitment level be like?

The actual system is currently in the works. However, the story and theme is intact. If you want in, please feel free. I know we would love to have such an intellectual in our diabolical ranks.

I was just reading the Team Destiny topic. It sounds like a great idea. :]

Oddly enough, the function of Team Destiny is somewhat contrary to that example. We each carry a monotype team- however, challengers must defeat more than one member of Team Destiny in a row using the same team. Thus, if they build to defeat the first, they shall fall to the second.

It's also taught me a lot about strengths and weaknesses. You don't take a lot except pride away from a victory; a loss makes you change your tactics somewhat. (IE. not having a team who all share the same weakness. XD)

The same can be said for each individual, standing before the next. There is always someone better and always someone worse. I highly doubt that giving it a chance will have any significantly negative effect on you.

It is when your team consistently gets their butts kicked >_>

It's nice talking to you too. Like I said, it's great to know there's somebody out there who appreciates who Moriarty is. :]

I will...one day when I'm brave enough to venture into the Battle Stadium. -.-

Precisely. I have little to add- you have most skillfully and thoroughly covered my own stance on the matter. If only for that I might note that having met and spoken with you has been a pleasure.

I must take my leave for the time being. However, you will frequently find me managing Team Destiny in the Battle Stadium. Stop by, say hello.

I agree wholeheartedly. I always find antagonists and anti-heroes far more refreshing and interesting than your bog-standard goody-two-shoes hero or heroine who spouts how beautiful mankind can be whilst touting whatever over-inflated social values their respective author or creator maintains.

It's why I also like Holmes and, to a lesser extent, Poirot as detective figures - they know what evil people are capable of and do not attempt to sugar-coat or rationalise it. People are people, and that means that they can be evil. End of, fullstop.

I am and have always been a connoisseur of evil, since rooting for Jafar before I could read. The hard realism of most villains is just refreshing, I think. They hold no illusions regarding the born goodness of mankind. The world is cruel- they not only accept this, but represent it. Discovering Doyle's masterpiece was a high point in my lifelong affair with the darker side of fiction.
