    You're welcome! It's a known problem that Firefox has memory leak issues, which can cause the application to eat up tons of virtual and physical memory, which would create problems. Mozilla patched most of those flaws in later versions of Firefox, so that could explain why it's not happening again.

    I just upgraded to 3.3.6 and funnily enough that seemed to sort it out. I no longer get the low memory messages, I can run as many tabs as I want and have MSN and iTunes running simultaneous with Firefox. Bizarre.
