If you like softer kinds of music, take a listen to this/ My father played it on the guitar last night, which reminded me. Pay close attention to the lyrics, as there is a wonderful lesson to be learned young one.

EDIT: I just noticed some stunning comment gold below the video: the top comment had 5,279 likes, and the normal comment section was full of hundreds of thumbs up per comment.
Spambot or not, its excellent. This song is amazing.

I prefer the "softer" kind, to be honest.

Well, the way you always jump on the new shiz, the alternative stuff - like Mac, for instance. You say you've been with Pokémon since the beginning, but base you're entire internets existence off of a fourth-generation Pokémon. (Gen III fan myself, but tagged Pikachu as a good site mascot, etc).

Always deriving from the mainstream, you are a mystery dungeon kind of guy. It's never heard of any 16x16 grid, it has no humans, and was started with a pair on two different platforms. If that's not alternative, I don't know what is.

And about that Chinese pop stuff... I like American pop - you know Ke$ha, Pitbull, Lady Gaga, all that materialistic shiz that they make... and I say if you like pop, you must have a remote taste for this legendary piece of work.

You know, after all this time, you still seem like a Mystery Dungeon kind of guy. The MIDIs from the game tell me so.

Now, when was the last time I plugged in something not USB? :p

USB should cover everything these days.

Oddly, I'd rather spend $3000 on a computer with a custom flourescent case, two Blu-ray drives, and 2 1TB hard disks than buy a $500 laptop that you can't customize jack squat with. I'm not terribly crazy about this eMachine here, either.

With a desktop computer, you can:
    - seperately install a monitor with virtually any screen size
    - add expansion cards for things like Wi-Fi, Dial-up, and of course gaming-grade GFX
    - have a huge USB hub in the front and back with 6-8 ports each with worry-free power management
    - have disc drives that don't burn out like those cheap laptop drives do
    - wield the capabilities to record, edit, and burn music that came from live instruments with ease (my dad plays music a lot with his friends in the shed outside, so I found out).

With a mobile computer, you'd be lucky to get a parallel port and a sound/joystick port, provided the manufacturers didn't dump every port for USB 2.0/3.0/whateverthefrick.0. Don't even dream for multiple serial ports unless you're the one scratch-building it.

Hope you're a fan of Chinese pop.

I am pretty sure that you can get a decent laptop on the cheap these days. And you probably can get an ultraportable laptop if Intel has it right at $600

BTW, I've been meaning to ask you. What genre of music do you most prefer listening to?

Man, you're rolling out the dough, aren't you? ;) I end up having to [email protected] everything, being thankful for the crappy eMachine with its dying 1280x1024 monitor that I have.

I bought a MacBook Air last month because other ultrabooks sucked.

Linux? That won't ever happen, as long as all these laptops ship with an OS. Ubuntu is a usability nightmare in my opinion.

Ugh, what? You I expected this out of the least... I thought you would at least move to Linux if not Windows D:
