Then the tree is too wide to replace the FR tree exactly, yet you still can insert it.

Wait, how big is the tree normally?

Sorry I was unclear in my last post.

I cut off 8 pixels from the right side of the tree, then when I placed it over the fr tree, to match. The left side extended out by 6 pixels. When I cut out 6 more from the right, it messes with the fancy thing on to of the big tree

Ergh... Right, how big is the tree? In order for this to work, it needs to fit a space of 16x48, which it can do. So, place it in the centre of a 16x48 paint box, (move the tree to a seperate Paint file, make the size of the file 32x48.) then remove 8 pixels from the right (under attributes, change it to 24x48)

There is probably a much simpler way, but I rtried explaining that way, and you didn't understand it...

... Well, I'm sure you can. Let's see... Ah, you do not need a column of 8 pixels from the right of the tree.

Yeah I found out that I was inserting tile before I did the "down to 16 colors"

So carry on to how to insert the trees, I made them fit the reg fr/lg tree space

It's because the tiles do not match the pallette of the tileset exactly 100%. You need to recolour the tiles to match the pallette EXACTLY 100%. If the pallette isn't exactly the same, then it results in a "color box" as you put it.

    Right now the grass/trees/flower
I could insert the grasses/flower. I already got the pallete in. Its just the trees, paths, and buildings&insides that give me trouble

Roughly the same principle, what tile are you inserting?

So... Right, we are going from the top pretty much for new tiles... First open the interior map you want new tiles in.

Right, you know how to pick a pallette for the tiles with the drop down menu, right? Select the pallette that closely resemble the tiles you want to insert. Then go to Picture - Save Tileset 2.
