-
October 27th, 2010 2:28 AMBanjora MarxvileAt a guess, you have already worked out how to use Block Editor in Advance Map, right?
-
October 27th, 2010 2:26 AMcountryemoI guess so, please
-
October 27th, 2010 2:25 AMBanjora MarxvileDepends on your style. With tile inserting, it really doesn't matter how you do it, as long as you feel comfortable.
What your friend suggested does work (yet requires more steps, which are very simple to do, but hard for me to explain), I guess you want help on each step of how to do it? -
October 27th, 2010 2:23 AMcountryemoHow would I go upon doing this?
Im trying to make a public rom base, except the blocks are is really confusing (like I dont know how to insert buildings, i guess thats tileset2?)
When I was thinking about indoor, my friend told me, delete everything, then put in which tiles/blocks you want -
September 6th, 2010 9:58 AMBanjora MarxvileStrange, it happened on mine too until I fixed it. Maybe you fixed it, but the old version didn't reload.
And yes, girl. Think of it like a child. You need to be strict with it, researching into it, find what it needs, in order for it to turn out well. If you do everything haphazardly, it ends up a little demon. Or taken by ROMcial Services. -
September 6th, 2010 9:17 AMcountryemoHey Hey
the pallet town thing happend on a old a-map.
when i opened the rom in a new one, things were fixed minus the parts i edited -
September 6th, 2010 9:06 AMcountryemolmao. girl? um ok.
the tiles aint much of a problem some wont change unless i click and save on the block editor so im fine there. -
September 6th, 2010 9:01 AMBanjora MarxvileMountains may take 2 minutes.
It isn't the pallette, that was never a problem (even with Pallet Town), and as for your tiles, dunno. Never had this problem, but I doubt it is the ROM, as the ROM seems like a good girl. I mean ROM. -
September 6th, 2010 8:58 AMcountryemono it dosent pink it. that happend with pallet though.
(but you fixed or will..(also the mountains? :)) hmmmm
i dont know what it is then. oh well, like i said ill just reload and reoad -
September 6th, 2010 8:46 AMBanjora MarxvileWell, I really doubt it is that, as why would it convert the right tileset into the wrong one? Surely it would just mess the tiles up completely (as in, a block of pink)?
-
September 6th, 2010 8:43 AMcountryemowell i was doing the first as testing, and thats how they changed. as far as i can tell
-
September 6th, 2010 8:41 AMBanjora Marxvile1st isn't, as it really doesn't make a difference, as the colours are kinda like... Well, code. The game recognises the colours in the other pallette, and adjusts them to fit the current.
The 2nd is really doubtful, as I would always get that error with the amount of Tilesets I edit. -
September 6th, 2010 8:39 AMcountryemoi think i know why it happens.
- Happens when you load a tileset when you not on the right pallete
~or happens when i load to much tilesets.
1st one is probally why -
September 6th, 2010 5:00 AMBanjora MarxvileTry inserting the tile again, and loading it, as something you are doing is making it disappear.
As for the tiles, can't. I am getting real busy real soon.
