July 18th, 2010 3:26 PMpsycho86wardbgYo, I'm just not finding time to get anymore work done on this RNG guide. And nowhere near the time to make as thorough of one as I would expect from myself. So I'm going to have to quit this task. Sorry :/

July 14th, 2010 1:31 PMpsycho86wardbgYo, I'm still working on the guide. I just don't have very much free time nowadays so its taking me longer than I expected

July 12th, 2010 6:43 PMpsycho86wardbgOk, so I will go over the programs as well. I may have to get it to you tomorrow, but I will start it now.

July 12th, 2010 6:41 PMAlternativeI didn't go over Pikatimer, because I don't use it. I know nothing about Pikatimer anyway, and the fact it won't install on my computer.
-
July 12th, 2010 6:39 PMpsycho86wardbgOk, I didn't look over all of your post. Did you go over pikatimer, wichu's program, etc?
-
July 12th, 2010 6:37 PMAlternativeUse Spoiler Tags and I can copy/paste it.

July 12th, 2010 6:36 PMpsycho86wardbgI could write it now. Nothing better to do. How should I send it to you when I'm done?

April 13th, 2010 3:10 AMAlternativeHello.
Do you think you could help me quickly with cehcking IVs? -
April 11th, 2010 9:00 AMpsycho86wardbgYes it would. But that is irrelevant. As soon as you receive the egg the iv's have already been determined. And thus the frame is no longer important. The only thing with trying an iv battle is if you don't get your iv's then your stuck because you had to save. I usually just hatch the egg and then fly to the survival area and level up the hatched poke to ~10. The will give you an adequate range for the iv's.
-
April 11th, 2010 8:54 AMAlternativeThat makes sense, but I don't have AR. Will running to the PokeCenter and getting the IV battle advance the frame?
-
April 11th, 2010 8:49 AMpsycho86wardbgOk. Well lets see. Lets say you soft reset, pick up your egg, check it's iv's and find out your on a frame of three. If the necessary frame for your desired spread was 3, then all you would have to do is hit your delay and pick up the egg. However, if you needed to hit a frame of 5, and you know you pick up the egg on a frame of 3. Then you have to advance the frame by 2. So you would advance the date by two days (guarantees your journal opens when you enter the game), do one journal flip (each journal flip advances the frame by 2), and then pick up your egg, which would now be on the frame 5.

April 11th, 2010 8:43 AMAlternativeI don't know.
I don't understand this frame stuff. -
April 11th, 2010 8:40 AMpsycho86wardbgIf it is the final product egg then just iv battle to check it.
And I don't think I understand what your asking here -"but what would my frame rate start on?" -
April 11th, 2010 8:37 AMAlternativeYes.
I still don't get this frame thing. Well I do, but what would my frame rate start on? -
April 11th, 2010 8:35 AMpsycho86wardbgAre you talking about you've already RNG'd the egg and you want to see if you hit it right for the desired iv's?
Advancing the frame. Lets see. When you first load your game you will enter the world on frame 1. But to attain a certain spread you may need to be on frame 9 for example. So you would have to advance the frame by 8. This can be done by a multitude of ways such as journal flipping, walking 128 steps, etc.
