Simple can work. =p Some testers are part of groups too, and the manual I don't think would get finished before everything in the game is sorted out too (e.g. they said they were working on cross-gen compatibility, so that can't be in a manual until it works, or is decided to be scrapped.)
I'm afraid urls don't count as even a single word in this case. The rules means words that contributes to the topic/discussion, so urls don't do that. Despite the picture = 1000 words saying, haha.
I'm aware of the beta testers, but then they don't need a manual or game box to necessarily test gameplay. And again, I didn't fully dismiss, I just thought of those points and the lack of info coupled with the image and decided it was pretty unlikely to be real. =p (I've been fairly into new Pokemon game releases since DP, so I have a bit of a feeling with what could be fake or not with info, as well as what sort of information to expect when. But that's still rather subjective and you are right in saying that one shouldn't always outright dismiss info).
Probably should have watched the four word rule then! ;p Especially as it was reported (so someone else saw it before I did).
Well there are beta tester and other people who get the games earlier you know. That's how pokebeach got their leaks. Anyways you are right with this one being fake but dismissing information that early could make you lose some true ones as well.
And i must admit that i am a little disappointed that i got no fun for the effort.
I never said sure. =p But fakes are very common, especially with Pokemon game releases. Given this game isn't out for another three+ months it seems a bit early for such an image to exist too, given they are still (as stated by the developers) still making the game, which really does suggest it is fake.
A google image search already shows another fake boxart and cartridge for X&Y, for instance. So by itself it's not convincing, no.
