Yeah that's why I like the Ground types, a lot of dual types, haha.

That's what I liked about him too

Yeah, I think part of the problem with the Electric type is after I signed up for the challenge, I checked Bulbapedia and found out that there's only something like 14 Electric type Pokemon in the whole game, I don't recall the number but it was a low amount. Add to that the fact of having almost no dual types to take advantage of, and it was making for a bit of a plodding experience. In addition to Poison, I was actually thinking Ice type as well, the idea of Glaceon as the main Pokemon... of course EJ already did that himself, but it could still be fun. :P

And yeah, I'm going with Krabby/Kingler. I watched the original season of Pokemon a week back or so (box set for the win!) and the Pokemon League match where Krabby evolves and kicks butt as Kingler inspired me! (Plus, he's always come across as a cool Pokemon and I've never raised one, so I figured why not? lol)

Well this is how I think of it. I either pick the type that has a majority of (catchable) Pokemon I like or I pick a type on a whim. With Ground types, it was the second one, and I'm loving it!

I think other cool types would be - Dragon (transfer over a Bagon or Dratini), Ice (transfer over a Eevee for Glaceon or a Swinub), and Normal types (diversity!).

You're solo-running Krabby/Kingler, right? I always liked Kingler, I had one on my other SS save file.

Hehe, thanks - I still want to do the Monotype Challenge, but I was kind of losing interest in the Electric type, so I'm going to think hard about which one I really want to do and when I finish my Solo Run Challenge, I'll be better prepared for it. ^_^
