I suppose I'd write a routine to read all the colours in the currently showing palettes, and then make each one the grayscale version. :P I can't explain it well, clearly, but it will work. ;)
I've surely never done anything of that magnitude, but I can definitely look in to that as well.
Oh cool, Psychology will probably be much more interesting.
Yeah I figured I'd just involve a bunch of palette hacks to get the grayscale look... or did you have some other way of doing it? I could do the black bars using OWs, I think that'd be the easiest way. I just thought of something else I needed. Would it be possible to show an image that fills the whole screen during a script? Preferably with 256 colours but 16 would be fine also.
Oh right. I'm guessing you're going to be taking Computer Science?
There is actually something I want to implement but don't know how. There are a few scripts in Genesis that contain flashbacks. I want to be able to make everything grayscale and have black bars on the top and bottom during these moments. Think that might be something you could help me with?
Hah, I do that too. Maybe you should make a thread for it? Might motivate you to work on it more often.
I start uni next year, but I'm doing some courses this year as well.
I see... well if you want some help with anything, just ask. :P
I'm not working on it as much as I'd like to. I keep starting to work on it, then think of something I'd like to implement and work on that for a week, thus never getting anything done. :{
Genesis is pretty stagnant at the moment. I haven't been happy with the quality of the work I've been doing so I don't want to show any of my work yet.
Are you still working on that yellow remake you wanted to do?
Oh, I'm just taking a bit of a break from it, I don't like MSN that much anyway. Nothing much has been happening in my life lately, nothing exciting anyway. Its good to see you're becoming somewhat active again. You must be one of the oldest active members in ROM Hacking by now, 4 years and still going strong!
