January 24th, 2014 3:32 AMNathanDerp moment :P
God, I'm sure I'd twitch my eyes a lot. Thanks for the infos, I appreciate it! ^^ -
January 23rd, 2014 6:20 PMMeganiumYou don't sleep :P How can you sleep when you have your surgeon working on your eyes? xD Meanwhile you won't even feel a thing because the doctor already added anesthetic eye drops every 5 min or so, so that way you won't feel any pain. After surgery you won't be able to move your eye for 10 min as you recover.

January 23rd, 2014 2:22 PMNathanGee, doesn't look good. During the surgery, they kept you awake?

January 23rd, 2014 1:50 PMMeganiumIt's basically a surgical procedure in the eyes, using a tiny knife and a laser. The laser is used to correct the vision while the doctor gets rid of the layer that causes the patient to have blurry vision.
I got this from a SUPER DUPER old VM I wrote two years ago:
Spoiler:Well eye surgery isn't all that bad, actually. People think they're gonna get their eyes fried up with a bright laser beam and go blind in two weeks. Well, that's a silly myth. First you have to talk to your eye doctor and go through a pre-test. He will determine if you're a good candidate for laser eye surgery. If you are, he will set a date where you will have to return for a series of pre-surgery exams. This does include dilation of the pupils (which is uuuuuuugh). This may take a month or so before your determined surgery date, depending on your schedule. The doctor will prescribe you medication, mainly eye drops for use in 2 weeks, one for 4 months, and one for 1 year. During surgery, he will add anesthetic eye drops, which protects your eyes from the bright laser beam. It doesn't hurt at all, but you will feel a burn sensation on the top layer of the eye, but you won't really feel your eye "burn on fire". xD For my experience, it doesn't hurt, as long as you don't twitch too much. The process takes 30 min - 1 hour in each eye. After surgery, get ready for a 48 hour recovery at home. You cannot watch TV, take a shower, go on the computer, swim, not even go outside (unless you have sunglasses or protective eye-wear on). After 48 hours or so, you'll be on your way to better eyesight and no longer have to care for glasses anymore!I should also add that after your 48 hour recovery you have to return to the eye doctor to get your eyes checked and all. -
