December 13th, 2011 7:14 AMdouble trouble!Lol I can't even make any on my own here.
Most of them are people I already know. -
December 13th, 2011 7:10 AMJuicyEh, it's just something to think about. I mean if I didn't send you a VM this whole convo wouldn't have started but I did and it worked out, right?
It's not like there's any pressure to start conversations but you could perhaps think of it as another class? Learning how to start conversations with strangers would be a really handy skill to have in the future and could cause what could be awkward situations for others to be nothing for you. You could also join a club if there's something you're interested in but that would be better to wait for the start of the year so there's lots of new club members (gives you more people to relate to).
It's all up to you though :P -
December 13th, 2011 7:01 AMdouble trouble!I don't know :/
The semester's almost over anyway. -
December 13th, 2011 6:59 AMJuicyI would have felt the same way tbh but I was lucky. I had random people come talk to me during orientation week and basically made a group of friends without having to go out and talk to people myself. But just think, if I would normally feel like that and you do feel like that then a lot of other people must feel the same way, right? Try starting conversations with people, worst case scenario is that you don't make a friend and end up where you are now... You'll lose nothing. I mean if everyone is too nervous to start conversations with people and waits for people to talk to them then nobody's going to make new friends. If you take the initiative it means you're better than them as well xD

December 13th, 2011 6:49 AMdouble trouble!I can't really talk to anyone though :/
I'm lonely, and I feel weird. -
December 13th, 2011 6:46 AMJuicyPsh, anyone who laughs at you for it is a waste of time for you so you might as well just ignore 'em. Also, I've noticed people in college/uni tend to be a lot more open than people were in High School. They don't really care what course your doing as long as you're fun xD

December 13th, 2011 6:44 AMdouble trouble!I just feel like someone will laugh at me for it :|

December 13th, 2011 6:42 AMJuicyWhy don't you like telling people? You ashamed of it or think you might not manage to do it and don't want people to know you tried? Although if you don't want to answer that I can understand and it's fine. You really shouldn't worry about telling people.
I used to want to do stuff with computers but I could never maintain interest long enough at a time to actually learn anything. -
December 13th, 2011 6:38 AMdouble trouble!I don't really like telling people... but..
Computer Science. It's something I've been into for a while. -
December 13th, 2011 6:36 AMJuicyYou're using it as a stepping stone for another degree? That's what most people seem to use Arts for... I used it for a time killer while I thought about what I wanted to do either job or degree wise. Just finished my first year and really think I've decided on something so that's good :D
Do you have any idea what you might change it to? -
December 13th, 2011 6:27 AMdouble trouble!Right now... Liberal Arts. lol
I'll change it some day. -
December 13th, 2011 6:25 AMJuicyThanks, you too :P
Ohh, I was considering majoring in English. So what are you majoring in? -
December 13th, 2011 6:24 AMdouble trouble!Good luck!
It's for English, but I'm not an English major or anything :P
It's just required. -
December 13th, 2011 6:20 AMJuicyAhh, fun fun xD I'm currently on holidays so no essays or exams for me :D Not this year, anyway...
What course are you doing? I'm currently doing a bachelor of arts but I'm really thinking of going into teaching.
