    yeah it worked and it was really really easy.
    Well as i see u have to make it kinda like this:

    i used an tutorial on PHO for them they use cyclone prtotyp[e for it to create the .raw
    and with cyclone u have only to insert the raw with onlt the battlebackground and it let's u to insert it and show actually right in battle but the problem stay in entering the battle that the two halves come to each other or sliding to each other showing the parts with wrong pallete i send u before that other screenshot.
    and that pic with 11x93 was when i only loaded the tileset in ntme and made the tilemap but if u insert just a .raw with the pic created in NTME it will still look distorted in battle.
    those are kinda the things i learned through ur PM.

    It worked? AWESOME. I was looking back at the pictures you sent me earlier and I could see that your NTME had the dimension 11x93 (How did you even get that?) and I guess I was bit too sleepy to realise that your first screenshot was because the lower part of the background hadn't been edited.

    Don't worry about my time - I've got quite a lot of it :P

    everything worked:)it all shows how it should show not like i did it before with the halfes crossing each other and such.

    I actually started it a while ago but stopped for some reason. I guess I'll have to find where I put it, add some more stuff and then post it when I feel it is ready. The sad part is I'll have to go over the stuff using UNlz that I got to skip in your PM :P

    Well, we've talked a lot so it's only natural :D

    Hey don't worry about it - I was more than happy to share what I know about backgrounds (However, I'll admit that I got very frustrated after my browser crashed). I've actually been meaning to write a tutorial on doing it since this is the fourth time someone has asked me for help with inserting backgrounds :P

    I'll definitely keep you in mind, bro :)

    this is what i get when i load the raw in NTME:

    i don't know if this is wanted to ahppen though and in and when i change to pallete map theyre all with an 3 above of them and there isnt an tile with other colour i guess..
    and sorry for bothiering u that much with this but i think it better to ask u to tell em how than to ask u to inert them for me i want to learn them myself and not bother everyone else.

    No HEX editing required :P

    I still think you haven't set the pallet correctly when making the .RAW file in NTME. Open NTME and load both your tileset (what you've just shown me) and the .RAW file that you've tried to insert into the ROM. Change the view from looking at the tilemap to looking at the palette map. If I'm correct, there should be large amount of tiles that are using a different pallet to the ones that are correct. If this isn't the case, then just tell me and I'll probably have to write a looong PM about how I insert backgrounds ;_;

    I'm inserting this one:

    and it using 14 with tranparency means one colour isnt using to amke it 16 colours.
    well but as u said the tilema[ is 32x64 means this one wont work i'll need to make it 32x62 right??
    but well for ur battlebackgrounds did u need to hex edit them??
    or to make it easier for both would u be able to tell me step by step how i insert ur's??
    if it won't be a bother for u?

    I'd say that looks like you haven't set the correct pallet for those miscoloured tiles in NTME. Since the tilemap is sized 32x64, I'm inclined to believe that you didn't scroll down to apply the correct pallet to the entire tilemap.
