July 21st, 2014 6:51 PMchampagnepapiYea rin is a cool guy. I also saw you had dangan ronpa in there, thoughts on that? [I thought it was okay, at least the main character was good] + do you know any anime like it

July 21st, 2014 12:04 PMLalapizzamewow i didn't realize you had vm'd me. sorry.
if i'm being vague, it's because it's been a long time since i saw it. it was average to decent. i actually liked rin as a main character (mc). he was not as outrageously hotblooded or "friendship uber alles" as other shonen mc's, though he showed it at times. the voice actor himself could be grating at times, especially when he screams.
there was an unusual conflict between rin and his brother, but since the anime created its own ending, i don't think the manga will have the same conflict. good art and animation throughout. it didn't have a lasting impact on me as a viewer though. it was just competently-executed shonen. -
July 15th, 2014 3:10 PMchampagnepapiYou have watched 338 animes to completion...
I see blue exorcist in there though, what'd you think of that? I'm just getting into watching anime but I thought it was really good. -

November 29th, 2013 4:39 PMLalapizzameIf you mind sparing a humble patron of this community with a response, could you possibly venture to establish a position on what events befall us in the posthumous? In my lifetime I've seen a myriad of feasible yet undoubtedly possessing some inherent sophistries. These theories, as your enlightened being may be aware, traverse a plethora of topics, including monotheistic religion, conceptual physics, and the metaphysical, however, it cannot be established what exactly happens after the humble denizens of the earth meet their oddly poetic demise. Given your natural seemingly ubiquitous air of sagacity, it would greatly delight me to hear what you have to say on this topic.Purple prose does not fly with anyone but Charles Dickens, romance novels, and pretentious intellectuals and teens.
"What do you expect in the future? Specifically, what happens after humans go extinct, at least on Earth?"
Purple prose writers and their satirists die first. Earth rejoices. Earth dies. Other planets will be settled. Humans will die out everywhere a million years from now, hunted to extinction or transcended to a greater species. Some greater lifeform will take our place. I will cheer on the continued life and civilization of the galaxy.
Humans will not leave Earth or die in droves because of nuclear war or a meteor. Doomsday belongs in doomsday novels and doomsday games... . Humans will leave because they need resources. -
