You should be able to breed many of them on to other Pokémon though.
Have you had any luck on 5th gen yet?

No way. RNGing is insane in 4th gen. Some of the steps may be "easier," but it is incredibly difficult and tedious to hit your seed. Unlike in 5th gen (Standard) where hitting your seed only requires timing down to a second, 4th gen requires timing down to 1/100 of a second. To put it in perspective: something that would take me maybe 5 minutes to RNG in 5th gen would take be anywhere between 30-60 minutes in 4th gen (unless I get lucky or waaaaay beter at my timing).

Don't worry it gets much easier once you get the hang of it. Just get familiar with the terminology on Smogon's guides and you should be fine. If you have access to a Mac, perhaps you can try using PPRNG, it's much more user friendly.

tl:dr : 5th gen is the easiest RNG abuse you're going to get.

Is RNG'ing easier on 4 Gen?

Ok so Calibrate 5 times using different times each time?

lol I know what you mean, I'm on my iPhone too. I think I might get the hang of it now. I've watched that video like 20 times lol

Do a completely different time when calibrating. I'd say calibrate about 5 times total.
Refer to that video guide I showed you earlier for how to hit a seed. I don't feel like typing it all out on my iPhone :P

Ahh...... I've only Calibrated once. And I think so, match the time and advance the frame?

You need to go through the calibration steps multiple times to make sure your parameters are correct. Did you do that? And do you know how to hit a seed?

Just try to get a shiny via capture first (be very lenient with IVs when you're searching though)

One thing you should do before you start breeding is practice manipulating your PID frame with captures. It helps quite a lot.

I'm using a Synchronizer at the moment, but I want to move on to breeding shinys soon
