Your standards only seem to get better and better for me, miledy.
So how was your Christmas? [typical]

Haha! Why would I limit my dreams to fit a job description? I want to create art, create games, and create games with art in them. I don't like what's being taught for gaming degrees. Do I yeild make games the way they want it, or do I give up on that part of my dream?
Neither! I just pick which paths that will give me the skills I want for my goals, even if it doesn't spell a BFA in Game Design. My school is excellent in giving the creative community what they are looking for in their markets. Game-wise, I'm not what they are looking for. So add some pure art (illustration), story telling (sequential art), and art applied to game (Concept Art for Games), and I'll figure out the rest!

It's good to hear that someone else shares the exact same thing on this part as me. T^T

Well, while I've always been creativly inclined, a solid decision of "I am going to be an artist" didn't come for me until the 10th grade. (And it was Graphic Design then, but I quickly learned I'm more of an illustrated type.)
I would guess I'm going the same thing, as I can't name a "dream job" that I want. My goals are something different than what just a job can give me, but yeah I'm on paths (illustration, sequential art, and concept art for games) that help me with that. Yep! Yay for creativity!

I'm ready for what's ahead. It wasn't unexpected for me at all, though, I have been concerned with architecture since I was 3 and used to draw lighthouses lol
I guess I'm not exactly following a career, but rather a path that is close to my goals. After all, both our 'paths' are paths of creativity, no?

Huh. I guess so then. At my college they have a 100% placement rate of all their graduates of architecture.
/shrug
Geometry is a kind of math. Physics needs math as well. idk, just only know about my school's program. /shrug shrug
But good luck with your career path! I've been waiting for a long time to start this specialized learning and it's sorta scary knowing that I'm in it and in not too long I have to be ready for a life of it! Is it for you?

You heard wrong about both matters. There's no guarantee for a job, and math isn't as important as proportional geometry and other stuff about perception.

Architecture? Woo, have fun with that. It's a loooot of math involved, I've heard. But I've also heard you don't ever have a problem getting a job. *thumbs up*

Well that sounds super awesome! I also got to college this year and on the architecture department. I already have past experience, but I guss I'll be soon called 'official'. ;D

Ah hah! I got it, thank you. I didn't know you changed accounts (fairly recently, it seems), but knew that you weren't new so I thought the tide of conversation would turn to give clues, but it stayed juuuust vague enough that I had to ask. xD;
Well, I'm currently going to an art college so with my skill increase, when I do eventually come back to pixel art (which as I've got game related classes, this is probably going to happen) it'll hopefully be....
super magical!

This is the point I stop and ask, even if it's socially awkward.
I...
I don't remember who you are, and I'm just assuming we're talking about my pixel art, right? xD;
