nah joking, it worked!! -
May 28th, 2011 11:34 AMBanjora MarxvileGood luck, hope it does.
-
May 28th, 2011 11:32 AME.C.hmm.i'll try it on a clean fire red rom, see if it works.
-
May 28th, 2011 11:30 AMBanjora MarxvileThat's kinda what I tried to hint at trying. You have to replace both frames of the computer tiles though, not just one, if it is to look smooth if it works.

May 28th, 2011 11:28 AME.C.so what if i put the new cpu over the old cpu animation, and put the byte, and try it in game, maybe it could work?
-
May 28th, 2011 11:25 AMBanjora MarxvileThey are~ I just saw them there to confirm. Simple way. Open up a map of a Pokemon Center, open Block Editor, select the computer monitor tiles, and it goes to that. It is in the tileset that is the main indoor tileset.
-
May 28th, 2011 11:23 AME.C.huh, that's funny, they aren't there, really weird.
-
May 28th, 2011 11:21 AMBanjora MarxvileSame as nearly all the indoor tiles. The Indoor Tileset No. 1 (Tileset 12 in Advance Map terms)
-
May 28th, 2011 11:16 AMBanjora MarxvileWell, if my theory is right, the PC "animation" parts are all in the tilesets, so maybe just replacing them changes the animation. As for accessing it, just set the behaviour to 83, I think it is.
-
May 28th, 2011 11:15 AME.C.so how could i possibly insert a new cpu inside the pokecenter, while making sure that i can access it?
-
May 28th, 2011 11:11 AMBanjora MarxvileIt's NOT, I repeat, NOT in AnimEditor.
-
May 28th, 2011 11:07 AMBanjora MarxvileI guess so, it could be in AnimEditor, I don't know yet. One thing cool though is that at the end, the PC stays, so it is kind of a "trigger" animation you need to activate that replaces the tile at the end.
-
May 28th, 2011 11:03 AME.C.so you are saying that when you put that byte on a tile, and press A on it, the firered "pc" appears? if that's it, then it has to be the animation right?
-
May 28th, 2011 10:58 AMBanjora MarxvileIt is the behaviour byte, which does something interesting. Reardless of the tile you replace, using it makes the PC animation from the tileset (which has both frames of the PC turning on), yet after using the "PC", the blank PC monitor stays as a tile in FR.
-
May 28th, 2011 10:46 AMBanjora MarxvileIt appears to be a behabiour byte for the tile. Let's see, I might test that on other tiles first to confirm.
