I know what you mean as well. I play both YGO online and with the actual cards, and while online play is good stuff, it's just not the same as playing IRL. The biggest difference between online play and IRL is that IRL you actually have a physical opponent sitting across the table from you. The psychological aspect of the game becomes much more real when face to face and believe me, there is a big psychological game in Yugioh. Body language can reveal a lot about what kind of cards the opponent has and the keen eye will abuse this knowledge to set up a favourable position.
Yeah I spend way too much time on my Sapphire emulator. At least you have a physical manifestation of yours.. it doesn't feel real without the Gameboy :(

Sure, but that's life. They're my interests for a reason. I've never been put down for my hobbies/etc but that's largely because I learned early on you can't take yourself too seriously. The fact that I make money with mine kinda curbs snotty comments too.
