At this point a lot of different people did the same thing. But it's your choice I guess.

I can only get Polar if I set it to a specific region in Finland. One of the few non-US, non-Canada regions to get that one.

Remember keep in mind if I set my region to India or France (Reunion) I can get an elusive Monsoon or Ocean pattern respectively, aka some of the rarest and most sought-after.

And Modern and Elegant are the two most common ones :P

I'd suggest Tundra. English Tundra is pretty rare.

I was so surprised at the diversity of patterns the available region settings on a PAL region 3DS (I'm from Australia btw so yeah it falls in that area). I can get any Vivillon pattern solely through manipulating my region except for these four: Modern, Elegant, Archipelago and Savannah.

So yeah, I can set to a lot of patterns aside from my native River.

Pi Day you say? That explains why I saw a pi symbol on the Tumblr logo.

Yeah I use the EXP Share even though most veteran players who want challenges seem to never want to use it. It was very helpful in my case if I needed to train things up fast. And yeah finally managed to get my hands on both a Kangaskhan and her corresponding Mega Stone.

Do you use EXP share by any chance?

    Dat Ferroseed.

Finally caught one myself on X today, it's female with a Mild nature. Currently training my Mawile for a while so that she can eventually learn her strong STAB moves, and I was actually surprised at how good she is at taking hits well.

I always underestimate Bug-types, but oh man Struggle Bug allows it to breeze through hordes a lot. Mine played a role in the capture of some of my Pokemon, including the Espurr I used on my team (she's a Meowstic now).

Increasing Struggle Bug's power was essentially icing on the cake for this cute butterfly, and OMG it's so adorable in Pokemon Amie. I like to play with my River Vivillon (that's my native pattern btw, I'm from Australia) just to see his cute reactions.

I know right. Vivillon quite surprisingly good for an early game regional bug.

It's also the only Bug type Pokemon introduced in this gen along with its pre-evolution

I'll never collect them all. Damn wi-fi won't recognize my 3DS.

But yeah I love how mine destroyed so many early opponents once he evolved!

I have the shiny River Vivillon as well. It's a scatterbug for now.

If you didn't know, I'm collecting shiny Vivillon patterns. I have 8 out of 18 patterns so far.

Well I'm the proud owner of a River Vivillon. He's not shiny but I love him anyway lol
