July 6th, 2014 7:28 AMKeiranThe Asbury Park show...was at The Stone Pony in October 2010. Codeseven and Animals As Leaders opened. Probably my favorite Circa show. But I understand why you may not remember shows well.. lmao. 2011 was the year I saw them at Bamboozle...god that was an awesome day. If you went, you might remember Taking Back Sunday playing all of their old stuff.

July 5th, 2014 6:59 PMFairyI know right? It like, I'm so sure there's one kid in my college on PC that I talk to regularly both here and there, and yet the conversation hasn't come up but we both know it lmao. Seems to happen more often than not, actually! And yes, Bamboozle and Asbury Park yes (although I think that was where I saw P!aTD). Those are actually sounding familiar to me. You have to understand, at these shows I'm not always.. hmm.. in the right state of mind to be remembering things ahh.
Nah I totally hear you, and there's definitely some songs that just resonate with me on such a deep level that it'll always be special to me. I just.. idk, I like the experience of music just as much as the sounds. But I don't need to explain that to you lol you know what I'm talking about haha. -
July 5th, 2014 6:30 PMKeiranWell, if you've ever seen them in Sayreville...Atlantic City...Asbury Park...at Bamboozle..it's quite likely. Philadelphia, too. But farther than that from NJ might be a stretch. I'm having a "what a small world" moment, haha.
I know what you mean, I like that stuff too. But it'd just get added to what I listen to. I just don't think I'll ever move away from my favorites; I'd just have new favorites in addition. Too many good memories to move on. Haha. -
July 5th, 2014 6:17 PMFairyOh jeez you're asking me to dig back into the haze that is my concert memory lmao. But it is very possible! I actually go to a lot of shows, so long as I can afford it haha.
See, I used to be like that.. but I've gotten to this place where noise balance is more important than lyrics, to me. And I'd rather here experiments of sound physics than a well composed, comprehensive song. I don't know this is what I get for dating a musician. -
July 5th, 2014 6:04 PMKeiranI'm all about the feelings. There's no greater feeling than seeing someone live and getting lost in it, to me. Is your location an ANCO reference? I thought you were from Jersey...where have you seen Circa? It's quite possible we've been to the same shows!

July 5th, 2014 5:53 PMFairyyeah! I actually saw a bunch of them not too long ago. Bright Eyes mainly, and Circa Survive. I'll always be a sucker for Sunrise Sunset. I didn't know anyone else listened to them! But yeah, I slowly sorta shifted to music that was more about technical skill than the way it makes me feel, you know?
-
July 5th, 2014 5:29 PMKeiranGasp! Which of those songs were old favorites? But yeah, my music taste has stayed the same for years, and probably won't ever change.
