Whichever fits. Also consider what kind of effects that position would have on a person- injuries, training, etc.

Pitcher! People notice pitchers very easily~

Well, some position players are easily noticeable too.

I dunno. One where he would get himself noticed, probably.

Probably. USA Baseball is the governing body for amateur baseball in the US, so it's possible.

What position should he play? (Not really important atm, but...yeah.)

More plausible, that. But would they be scouting so early?

Wait, never mind about the Little League - the maximum age is 12 for them.

How about a 15-year-old playing in the USA Baseball U16 League?

Ooh, that would be harsh. Also- age of protagonist?

Yeah, probably the Little League. They're trying to win the championship.

And at one of the games, how about having an MLB scout catch him doing substances? :o

Should do, yeah. Is there going to be one big overarching thing connecting this, like some kind of league or something the team has to win?

I can write it well, but I'm not too knowledgeable on the subject.

How about the teammates doing the substances, hindering his chances at an MLB career?

If you can write it well and have a fair amount of knowledge on the subject, I say do it. Perhaps it's mainly his friends who do substances, but there's peer pressure involved?

I have a few "conflicts" in mind: family, school and problems with his team. How about problems with substances? :o

    Bore da~

You could make that work though, if it were interesting and the main character 3-dimensional and intriguing. You'd have to have some kind of conflict though.

Good morning! Let's get started, I guess!

My main idea was something about "the life of a baseball player," but it's rather boring.
