Anywhere is good. Drake is looking for Val, and he has no idea what she even looks like. x3 So they can bump into each other wherever. Also, I'm having fun with Quin. ^^ I haven't had the chance to do anything really off the wall yet, but I'm sure the opportunity will come up.

I see. I guess just tell me where you want Valorie to wind up and I'll put her there. She's going to be in an angsty mood because she was in self defense and it turns out she's incompetent at battles that don't involve pokemon.

I'm still waiting for Pepsi to keep walking, but I could make a post about dropping her off at the pokemon center and continuing on his way, maybe meeting Val. x3

So there's a Valorie, currently not in use. Was considering maybe you'd like to claim her for something involving Drake or whatnot.

Ok then. Thank you for that. I'll tell him that. I wasn't sure what to say when that question came up, and I'm glad that you could give me an answer. Now, unless my math is off, it would be 19, right? But I totally understand where you are coming from too. Thanks for your time.

Well I'm glad you asked me. Unfortunately there needs to be some sort of consequence for not owning the pokemon that is trained. The bond between trainer and pokemon is what makes pokemon stronger, wild pokemon only grow stronger in the wild to a degree. Pokemon are not supposed to be completely independent etcetera.

But perhaps no levels is too harsh. How about half..?

Hey Yellow, sorry to bug you again. You know how Nova has been running around with a Vulpix, right? Well, me and Mammoth were talking, and he wanted Max to catch this Vulpix. We both got to wondering what level he would be. Would he be 15 like all wild pokemon? Or would he be up to 23 from the fighting and training he's had with Nova? My math is 2 levels for fighting and losing to Nova, 2 levels for fighting and losing to Arcino, 1 level for training with Nova and 3 levels for beating the threesome of Houndour. IO was just wondering which it would be.

Well, everyone wants to be the best. Even Brian wants to be the best... Doctor.

    lol

Cool. xD That can also explain how Drake and Val meet, something I am still interested in seeing happen.

I think you did. xD But I can't remember. Thanks!

I guess you've got a point. I'm just thinking of Valorie's point of view where she wants to be better than like, everyone. It's sad because she doesn't have what it takes. The most terrifying thing would be if Dardanette got ahold of Valorie's pokemon somehow. Dardanette is actually inferior to Valorie as a trainer, but more than makes up for it with her powers she uses to make her pokemon stronger than they actually are. Giving a pokemon to her literally raises it's level by 20.

Enough of me rambling on about my OCs though.

Yes, I love your idea and I want to see it happen. >=3

Welcome back by the way! Did I get a chance to say that? I feel like I said it somewhere but yeah.

I never said she had to battle him, or Drake for that matter, but I like the idea of that. And I'm sure that if she battled well enough, then it wouldn't matter that she lost. Sure, she might not be able to beat the champion and premier Dragonmaster of the age, but I'm sure that she could beat Clair, and probably Drake too. Are you telling me that those two aren't really powerful dragontamers/dragonmasters? The point is, no one is as tough as Lance. She just has to be tough enough.

    I like the idea, however...

Unfortunately, Valorie's preset level limits, the ones that I set on all my characters depending on their actual skill, are around 65, meaning her pokemon can only range from 60-70.

...Lance's pokemon are from 72-77, meaning that her winning a serious battle against him is... unlikely. (Only two of my characters have level limits high enough to compete with champions and they're both villains. One of them is actually Dardanette, the girl Vincent fought in Dead Forest whom has level limits about equal to a champion. The other is not in PTA, because she does horrible things to her pokemon to make them way stronger than her skill alone could make them. I could go on about how her pokemon are quite frankly terrifying, as her level range is the same as Gary's, 82-87 and many of her pokemon have special powers that make them even more beastly on top of their levels.)

But enough about that. The point is I like the idea, but Valorie was ultimately not designed to be strong enough to equal let alone pass the champions, unless you plan to have Lance hold back.

Of course, you can have Lance do this anyway. You're not restricted from controlling the champions unless they battle.

Hi Yellow. I was just thinking about something. You know Lance is a Dragonaster. As is Draco, unless there can only be one Dragonmaster at a time. Well, seeing as how Val wants to be a Dragonmaster as well, and Lance and Drake go way back, I was thinking it might be interesting to have Lance have asked Drake to keep an eye on her and tell Lance what he thought of her and her ambition, and maybe ending with some sort of test set out by the two Dragonmasters, which she would likely pass and be on her way to being a Dragonmaster. Just a thought, and I wanted to see what you thought of that idea.

Hey Nideous. At this point the RP is full, so it's massively unfair for me to hold your spot any longer. Here's your SUs back. If you ever get your internet back, you can just resubmit then and start where you left off.

    Brian Jameson
    Spoiler:
    SU
    Spoiler:
    Name: Brian Jameson

    Nickname: Bri

    Age: 10

    Gender: Male

Dorm: Entei Dorm (He aced the written part, but refused to do they practical part)

Appearance: A short boy, he has a round face full of life. He has bright blue eyes, and a smile is always on his face. He has long light brown hair. So long in fact that people have mistaken him for a girl sometimes. He wears Blue jeans that are a little too big for him and a White T-shirt with the logo of a pokeball on it. It has a few small rips in it.His shoes are a pair of dirt and grime covered things. They used to be white, but are now a shade of brown.

Personality: Brian is a very happy person. He has a tendancy to make people smile just by looking at him. He is very naive, however this adds to his charm. He is a little forgetful about the unimportant things. He always takes the time out to help people. He tries to make friends with everyone, and usually keeps those friends. He is very open and easy to talk to, and listens very well. He is more than a little clumsy, especially around girls. He is almost impossible to anger, but he scares very easily. He'll more likely run from a battle than fight. He Tries his hardest, but let's face it, he's kind of a slow learner. He can even be a little helpless sometimes, although he tries to be self-sufficent.

He really starts to shine when he deals with pokemon. He was born with the ability to understand what pokemon say. He is unaware that not many people, if no other people at all have this ability. He doesn't like to battle, and isn't very good at it. Although he has a lot of talent caring for pokemon, he is a rookie trainer. He doesn't know the first thing about the the gyms, or type match-ups or anything.

History: Brian grew up in Hoenn, but was born in Unova. As I said before, he had the ability to understand what any pokemon is saying. When he was three, he formed a very close bond with his only pokemon, a wild Snivy. When his family had to move, they left the wild Snivy behind. Snivy, however, climbed into the bags and went with them. Brians father, upon seeing the Snivy, caught him in a pokeball and gave him to Brian. The two have been inseperable ever since. While Brian was in Hoenn, he made friends with many of the children there. They were a lot older than him, so they left him behind to go on their pokemon journeys, a fact that made him sad. He has six older brothers, and his family can't afford to get him new things, so he gets the hand-me-downs. As the youngest of his siblings and only one who has shown any interest in pokemon, his parents have decided to send him to the school. They also have informed Professer Oak about his unusual ability.

Quincy Zaraneth Marley Doreen the 3rd
    Spoiler:
    SU
    Spoiler:
Name (First, Middle-optional and Last): Quincy Zaraneth Marley Doreen the 3rd

    Nickname (Optional): Quin, Zara

    Age (10-15):15

    Gender (Male or Female): Male

Dorm (Raikou Dorm, Entei Dorm or Suicune Dorm): Raikou Dorm

Appearance (A picture will do but describe what he/she wears otherwise and any other information): 1 Paragraph

Quin is kind of tall for his age. He is very skinny, and has almost no body fat. His hair is a wild tangled mess of red that goes halfway down his back and spikes around his head. His eyes are dark grey, and are very shifty and untrusting. He constantly has an expression of confusion, amusement, and joy. He wears long pants that resemble kaki slacks. His shirt is a green polo shirt with an odd emblem on them. He wears a silver ring with the same emblem.

Personality (How does your character act? Do people enjoy being around you?: 2 Paragraphs

Quin hears voices in his mind, and constantly bickers with them. This leads to some odd one-sided conversations with himself. When he's not arguing with himself, he's usually ranting about some wild crazy conspiresy(I think I spelled that right.) or another. Theories you have only to ask about and he'll tell you every little detail. If he's ever right with them, it's merely coincidence.

Also, he's very outgoing, and will impose himself and his theories on anyone that even shows a slight interest in him. Quin is very confident and honest, even with his theories, which he truly believes in. He will debate everything furiously, but will back down if he loses the debate.

When the voices win on certain arguements, he adopts an entirely different personality. While normally, Quin is relatively harmless, Zaraneth, his split personality, is downright aggressive. Zara, as he likes to be called, will not hesitate to use violence to get his point across. Like Quin, he fights for what he believes in, and is very protective of those he considers his allies. The way to tell when Zara is in charge is when He suddenly goes silent.

History (Where did you grow up? Why you decided to go to the trainer school? Family? Etc..): 3 Paragraphs

Quin's father is the owner of a very large medical firm. As such, he and his family are very rich. When he was 25, he met the girl of his dreams and the two of them got married and had a son. They named him Quincy Zaraneth Marley Doreen.

Quin was the third in his family to be named this. His mother and father were cousins once removed they got married and had a child before they found out they were related. Horrified, they kept it a secret and wanted to hide their son. Due to their vast wealth, they were successful in keeping his existance a secret. It was clear that Quin had been effected by this, as he developed his severe mental problems. He also began to use the internet to learn all of his wild theories.

At the age of ten, his parents bought him a wide selection of pokemon to give him a companion. Being the person he is, he selected three pokemon to protect him from the aliens that were after him. He began training for the battles he knew were ahead of him. At the age of fifteen he learned of Professor Oak's Academy, and this fell in line with one of the few theories he was actually right about, so he set off in the dead of night to join the school. Due to an encounter with the aliens, he missed the ferry to the island and had to get there on his own.
