October 16th, 2011 8:18 PMNideousWell then, I'll have to hope Mammoth gets on and we can finish up before you guys do. XO
-
October 16th, 2011 8:08 PMDawnHehe... well, I'm only waiting long enough for Valorie and DarkGoalie's to finish. We've sorta been sitting around without structure for far too long.
-
October 16th, 2011 7:28 PMNideousNah. I'm good. I just got Brian in yet another battle. I would like to finish that one before moving on, if that's cool.
-
October 16th, 2011 7:04 PMDawnI could move on right now, it's just a question of whether to finish the battle between Valorie and Jason. I mean, I could interrupt it. |D
-
October 16th, 2011 6:09 PMNideousWell, in any case, anyone that tried to copy me just wouldn't be the same. *Insert corny analogy here.* XD Anyways, we're still waiting for a few more battles to be done before moving on, right?
-
October 16th, 2011 6:05 PMDawnIt's alright. c: The real question was just about people's personal freedoms vs enforcing a canon. In this case, we didn't really see people copying what happened to Thyme, so we let it go. No harm done. c:

October 16th, 2011 5:57 PMNideous... I didn't think of that... So, I hope people don't decide to follow that trend I inadvertently set. Oops, sorry. Still, it's not going to happen like that again, so long as the pokemon have access to a nurse to heal them.
-
October 16th, 2011 5:53 PMDawnWell... The way in the pokeballs are just faster. They can still just take a pokemon and apply the same medicine and whatnot outside of one.
We decided not to do anything for the time being, the only real risk factor being if we noticed other people feeling pressured to copy such a thing we'd have to step in and do something about it. That was really... the primary worry, that others would see pokemon having a harder time healing and think "Wow, that's nitty and gritty and cool! I should copy that!" and suddenly you've got people feeling lame and alienated because they don't do that and bla bla bla. -
October 16th, 2011 5:17 PMNideousWell, if the pokemon won't go in their pokeball then how can she heal them other than the traditional way? :\ But what did you guys decide?
Anyways, gain all the pokemon you want her to have. I'm going to keep Brian at seven, unless someone gives him a pokemon for some reason. As for Quin, he'll catch some more eventually. XD -
October 16th, 2011 5:06 PMDawnI see. That whole incident forced me and Megaman to have a debate on whether we should enforce the "Nurse Joy can heal everything except death" concept. |D Regardless, I've also heavily considered having Valorie gain extra pokemon and just... not train them competitively.
-
October 16th, 2011 3:30 PMNideousWell, that and she really had gotten hurt. XD But she's feeling much better now. :D And I'll still have Nova run away, just because I feel like it. >:O
-
October 16th, 2011 3:29 PMDawnYou bet. I honestly had no idea you were doing that to Thyme for the purposes of only carrying six. D=
-
October 16th, 2011 3:20 PMNideousOk then. So, Bri can wander around with all seven of his pokemon?
-
October 16th, 2011 3:00 PMDawnYeah. I'm just going to ignore the anime there. If anyone gets angsty, the island uses it's own system that doesn't have such stupid rules. |D
-
October 16th, 2011 2:23 PMNideousYeah, I know. But that was the only time it's ever come up in the Anime that I can remember, except when Ash caught Krabby, but the ball disappeared, which makes even less sense.
