April 23rd, 2017 3:24 PMtokyodriftI'm also a bit shocked at how strong Murloc Paladin actually turned out to be with this expansion. I think it's definitely top tier.

April 20th, 2017 3:23 AMJunoI know! The two worst rated cards turned out to be preeetty good - everyone thought the rogue quest would be awful too, lol. It's funny how the pro reviews are usually wrong.
-
April 18th, 2017 6:55 PMtokyodriftIt's actually pretty funny since many thought it was a pretty crappy card. I don't see why though since Rogue has so many ways to revive it with their cheap spells/free spells.
-
April 18th, 2017 3:25 PMJunoOh yeah, I've seen a couple people play that too - works really well when you can get multiple Sherazins out with Shadowcasters/Barnes/N'Zoth etc and reviving them as much as you can :) Definitely an interesting card.
-
April 14th, 2017 1:14 PMtokyodriftI'm also trying questless Rogue. It uses the old Miracle engine with low cost spells and Sherazin which is easy to revive.

April 14th, 2017 10:49 AMJunoSounds interesting! I've been dabbling in some questless decks with the newer cards too, but not with as much success haha. Just for fun though (against Austin), haven't taken them to ranked yet.
And yeah, Counterspell can be funny. :P Most rogues do try to play around it since their whole win condition hinges on the quest going off, but when you are able to counter it it's great, lol. -
April 13th, 2017 2:23 PMtokyodriftBeen playing Secret Mage a lot here lately. Have gone from rank 20-13 so far. Really fun deck. I think it can really compete with the faster decks. Plus Kabal Lackey + Counterspell turn 1 to ruin someone's quest is the greatest feeling :P

April 3rd, 2017 8:29 PMJunohmm, I'd say the hunter cards I've seen still seem better suited for aggro decks - lots of really efficient small drops, and their quest really seems to push that playstyle too (play 7 1-drops, get a 5 mana 8/8 that shuffles 15 1 mana 3/2s into the deck :x), so that's a bit concerning lol
But on the bright side, there's also a lot of control-oriented cards added to all the other classes, efficient removals and taunts, so I think the tools to combat them are there! -
April 3rd, 2017 1:16 PMtokyodriftJust took a gander at it and oh my.... it seems pretty strong. I guess the question is now if there will be more Face/Rush hunter or more of a control type since I'm sure the cards don't stack and they'd only be running one of it.
-
April 2nd, 2017 5:13 PMJunoThat new hunter hero power tho (from Dinomancy)! Even I kinda want to play hunter now, and it's like my least played class, lol. I watched Brode and Frodan's stream where they played a few new decks, looks like it'll be a blast!
Also omg I forgot to say happy birthday so HAPPY BELATED BIRTHDAY -
April 1st, 2017 5:32 PMtokyodriftIt seems like everyone is speculating that Hunter will be back in the meta, and we know what that means.... Very, very, very fast games. I do think we might see more long drawn out games in the future, but I think we'd have to see the entire set and see how it evolves, and in a perfect world, Control Priest will be a thing again :D

April 1st, 2017 9:43 AMJunoAZURE DRAKE ;; It's basically in all my decks lol, and I really like dragon decks - those are gonna take quite a hit this rotation. And yeah, Sylvanas and Rag will be sorely missed :(
With how good quests can be, I'm actually wondering if it'll make some people play even more aggro decks. Nobody wants to live long enough to see some of these quests completed :P -
March 31st, 2017 2:32 PMtokyodriftI'M ALSO CRYING THAT SYLVANNAS IS LEAVING US D:
